📱 Singapore payment company Seven7 Perfection used their recent Business Growth Grant to kick-start their PayNow implementation, opening up their new KuikPay product line to PayNow’s 4.5 million users...all during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The grant allowed them to quickly roll out their proof of concept and product updates to APIX, greatly helping them reduce their time to market.

In June 2019, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced the issuance of five new digital banking licenses to non-bank players. This is an important step in Singapore’s banking liberalisation journey and ensures that Singapore’s financial sector continues to be resilient, competitive and vibrant.

Singapore, 16 September 2020 - The InsurTech sub-committee of the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) is excited to announce the launch of Singapore’s first interactive InsurTech map, capturing Singapore’s vibrant InsurTech ecosystem!

The map is powered by The Digital Insurer (TDI) InsurTech Directory platform, and Intended to help users of InsurTech services such as insurers to source for solution providers, while enabling InsurTech firms to easily promote their businesses locally and globally.

The newly formed InsurTech sub-committee will continue to foster collaboration and build a bridge between people and organisations.

Here at the Singapore FinTech Association, we have promoted diversity and gender equality in the fintech sector. The Women-in-FinTech Subcommittee has been set up and helped to profile and recognise more women leaders in fintech, and represent the voice of women in the fintech, as well.

Ngee Hua LIM, the Secretary and Executive Committee Member of the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA), is a Co-Lead for the Women-in-FinTech Subcommittees and has led initiatives to empower women in the fintech sector.

On 14 September, The FinTech Times shared Ngee Hua LIM's journey in this up and rising sectors as they celebrate the Women in FinTech.
