Helping our daughters navigate a changing world is not about predicting the future. It is about equipping them with the confidence, skills, and support, to navigate their own paths.
β€οΈ Thank you to the Year 3 families who joined our Designing Your Life (DYL) Workshop with RGS.
Building on the Stanford-developed DYL principles introduced during in-school sessions, the workshop brought parents and daughters together through design thinking and fostered a shared language for meaningful interactions.
π¬ It was heartening to see parents and daughters slow down and connect through intentional one-on-one conversations. In this reflective space, our girls opened up while parents listened, asked thoughtful questions, and explored what brings their daughters joy, purpose, and energy.
β¨ Special thanks to our facilitators (Cara Chan, Michelle Yong, and Rachel Pang, Head of Character & Citizenship Education at RGS) for guiding us and reminding us that resilience comes from empowering our daughters to reflect, discover, and explore in an ever-changing world.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen parent-child bonds and spark conversations that can continue long after the session.
π‘ Thank you for being part of this journey, and do keep a lookout for our next learning opportunity!
