☘️ A Special Mention to Class 204! ☘️

In just 20 minutes, Mr Shaun de Souza challenged his class to create his outfit, sparking their creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm as they brought the Biodiversity theme to life. Their efforts certainly paid off as Mr Shaun emerged as one of the Best-Dressed winners at Staff Appreciation Lunch!

More than the win, it was wonderful to see how much fun the students had creating it together. Thank you, Mr Shaun, for involving them so meaningfully and turning a simple challenge into a memorable lesson in creativity, collaboration and the joy of learning together! 🦉

🌱 “In nature, every living thing has a part to play. In education, so does every caring hand.”

At RGS, every student’s journey is nurtured by an entire community. To our teachers and all the dedicated non-academic teams working tirelessly behind the scenes, thank you for the care, encouragement and commitment you bring each day.

Themed “Biodiversity”, we celebrate the unique and meaningful ways each of you helps our students to grow, flourish, and thrive.

Although our gratitude extends far beyond this one day, Staff Appreciation Day gives us a special moment to pause and honour all that you do. Today, our Gratitude is in Bloom 💚🖤🤍 for every caring hand, every big and little things you do to nurture our girls, helping them blossom.☘️

🎉 Happy 147th Birthday, Raffles Girls' School ! 🎉

PRGS was honoured to be part of RGS’s 147th Founder’s Day celebrations, commemorating 147 years of inspiring and empowering generations of RGS girls.

The celebrations were graced by Ms Goh Hanyan, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, who joined us in marking this special occasion.

Each year, Parents for RGS celebrates students who exemplify the values and character that lie at the heart of the RGS experience. We are delighted to celebrate this year’s PRGS Award recipients, Y3 students Techatanachai Sukittirat and Kannan Varshikaa, who have demonstrated courage, adaptability, resilience, optimism and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Heartiest congratulations to both girls! 👏👏

PRGS was also delighted to sponsor the Founder’s Day cake, adding a little extra sweetness to the celebrations for our girls and guests at the reception. 🍰

On behalf of all RGS parents, PRGS wishes RGS continued success and many more wonderful years of nurturing generations of confident, compassionate and capable young women.

A Little Cheer for Exam Season 🌈
When It Rains, Look for Rainbows✨

Today, we sent a little extra sunshine to all our Rafflesian girls as they prepare for the EYE season!

This year’s care packs were packed with treats to bring moments of calm and joy - from adorable fluffy headbands and fine mist spray bottles to wristlet straps - along with an encouraging message from Parents for RGS:
“Trust yourself and do your best. We are cheering you on!” 💕

As our girls navigate the days ahead, we hope they remember: “When it rains, look for rainbows. When it’s dark, look for stars.” 🌈⭐
A little reminder to pause, breathe and look for the bright moments, even on the stressful days.
Stay positive, take care and keep shining! You’ve got this!

Design Your Life Workshop
Today marked the final session of our Design Your Life workshop for our 15-year-olds. We’re incredibly grateful that RGS created this space for teens (and their parents) to explore not only their futures, but also to better understand themselves, what matters to them.

Our final session was a beautifully small and intimate circle, allowing parents and teens to slow down, listen and connect more deeply. Beyond the life design concepts and tools, thoughtful prompts opened the door to meaningful questions, honest conversations and different perspectives.

For parents, it was an eye-opening glimpse into what energises their teens, what engages them, and the dreams and possibilities they are beginning to imagine. For the teens, it was a chance to see their parents through a different lens, challenging assumptions and opening up new perspectives.

A meaningful way to end the series, with greater understanding, more open conversations and perhaps a little more appreciation for one another.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitators, parents, teens and everyone at RGS who made this experience possible 💐

Behind the Scenes: RHD 2026
Before the girls arrived, there was a whole lot happening behind the scenes! ✨

From planning, prepping and packing to decorating, setting up booths and getting every little detail ready, our amazing PRGS parent volunteers and the RGS community came together to make the day happen. 💪🏻❤️

A special shout-out to everyone who put in the time, effort and so much heart behind the scenes. From the first setup to the final touches, every contribution helped bring the day to life.
