NOVA Learning Intervention Programme - The NOVA Learning Intervention Programme was launched in 2006 for mainstream children who encounter various difficulties in school such as social, emotional and relational difficulties. Through daily individualised interventions, the children are helped to cope better. The main objectives of the programme are to help children develop and strengthen their learning abilities in each of the four domains, namely, social, emotional, behavioural and academic. Training & Workshops - Morning Star Community Services offers evidence-based parenting workshops which aim to empower families, by offering them practical skills and knowledge to strengthen family relationships. Counselling & Therapy - Morning Star Community Services has a team of professional counsellors who support the emotional and mental wellbeing of our clients, their family members and also the general public when necessary. People seek counselling therapy for someone to help them navigate through a difficult time to gain clarity and concrete options on dealing with situations. CareNights @ Morning Star - The signature programme started in July 2016 to provide temporary support to parents who are on skill upgrading programmes, working night shifts or needing respite from caregiving in order to attend to family crises. Children are engaged in structured activities to support their learning of values and skills, such as Art for Therapy, reading, homework coaching, and performing arts.
