We currentl

y operate four Special Education (SPED) Schools (APSN Chaoyang School, APSN Katong School, APSN Tanglin School and APSN Delta Senior School) for students between the ages of 7 and 21, APSN Student Care Centre for children from 7 to 18 years old, APSN Centre for Adults for persons from 18 years and older, and APSN Learning Hub for working professionals and other stakeholders. We adopt a holistic approach in our curriculum, comprising academic, vocational and social skills, which are important for open employment and lifelong learning. APSN seeks to enable persons with special needs to be active contributors to the society, and is committed to inspire and develop the capabilities of our partners and community to build an inclusive society. We are constantly expanding our network to reach out to more beneficiaries and to understand their needs so that we are better able to support them. Since 1 April 2021, we have undergone restructuring such that the society’s activities would be carried out by two incorporated companies limited by guarantee – APSN Education Services Ltd. oversees the operations of four APSN Schools while APSN Ltd. manages the APSN Centre for Adults, APSN Student Care Centre and APSN Learning Hub. Both entities work seamlessly together as one APSN to provide holistic education, training, employment assistance, as well as continuing support to all APSN beneficiaries through the different stages of their life journey; so that they can become active contributors to the society and lead independent and fulfilling lives. We have also attained the Enabling Mark (Gold), a national-level accreditation framework by SG Enable that benchmarks and recognises organisations for their best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment.

We’re grateful to Marina One for choosing APSN as the main beneficiary of Marina One Community Day. Held under the theme “One Community, One Cause”, the event brought people together to champion inclusion and create meaningful impact for APSN beneficiaries with mild intellectual disabilities.

Proceeds raised will support vocational training, equipping our beneficiaries with skills to work towards greater independence.

It’s meaningful partnerships like this that turn support into real opportunities — and bring us one step closer to a more inclusive society.

A career is more than what you do. It’s the people you grow with.

At the APSN Allied Professionals’ Retreat 2026, our occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists and social workers took a break from the usual routine to connect, exchange ideas and recharge through a mix of sharing sessions, team discussions, wellness activities and team bonding.

It’s moments like these that make a difference — building stronger teams, supporting one another and growing together so we can do more for the beneficiaries we serve.

For 42 years, Rani has watched her students learn, grow and thrive.

Today, she teaches English, Socio-Emotional Learning and Daily Living Skills at APSN Katong School, while coaching students in bowling. For Rani, learning goes beyond the classroom — it’s about building confidence, independence and everyday skills.

One of her most special moments? Seeing a former student return to APSN as a Teacher Aide, continuing to shape futures alongside her.

Support our 50 for 50 campaign and help create opportunities for our beneficiaries to build confidence, independence and meaningful futures. Find out more via link in bio!

🇸🇬 A Look Back at Our National Day Celebrations!

Red and white filled our APSN schools as students and staff came together to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday!

From performances and game stations to National Education activities, students across APSN Chaoyang School, APSN Katong School, APSN Tanglin School and APSN Delta Senior School celebrated with pride, joy and school spirit.

Highlights included performances and activities led by Presbyterian High School students, a meaningful sharing by personnel from the Republic of Singapore Navy, and a drone display and march-in alongside members of Anderson Secondary School’s uniformed groups.

Together, we celebrated Singapore’s journey, our shared values, and the spirit of inclusivity and resilience.

What does Singapore mean to you? 💁

For our 3 APSN student artists, the answer comes through their art. 💖

From kampong memories and family gatherings to iconic landmarks and hopes for the future, students from APSN Chaoyang, Katong and Tanglin Schools have each shared their own perspective of Singapore through their artworks, which were selected for the NDP 2026 Pack. 🤩

Their works are among six collaborative artworks created by 36 artists with disabilities from across Singapore, inspired by the theme "Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!" 🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬
