Established in 1976, APSN is a social service agency that provides special education, vocational training and employment support services for individuals with mild intellectual disability (IQ 50-70). We currentl

y operate four Special Education (SPED) Schools (APSN Chaoyang School, APSN Katong School, APSN Tanglin School and APSN Delta Senior School) for students between the ages of 7 and 21, APSN Student Care Centre for children from 7 to 18 years old, APSN Centre for Adults for persons from 18 years and older, and APSN Learning Hub for working professionals and other stakeholders. We adopt a holistic approach in our curriculum, comprising academic, vocational and social skills, which are important for open employment and lifelong learning. APSN seeks to enable persons with special needs to be active contributors to the society, and is committed to inspire and develop the capabilities of our partners and community to build an inclusive society. We are constantly expanding our network to reach out to more beneficiaries and to understand their needs so that we are better able to support them. Since 1 April 2021, we have undergone restructuring such that the society’s activities would be carried out by two incorporated companies limited by guarantee – APSN Education Services Ltd. oversees the operations of four APSN Schools while APSN Ltd. manages the APSN Centre for Adults, APSN Student Care Centre and APSN Learning Hub. Both entities work seamlessly together as one APSN to provide holistic education, training, employment assistance, as well as continuing support to all APSN beneficiaries through the different stages of their life journey; so that they can become active contributors to the society and lead independent and fulfilling lives. We have also attained the Enabling Mark (Gold), a national-level accreditation framework by SG Enable that benchmarks and recognises organisations for their best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment.

An unforgettable evening at the APSN Charity Golf & Dinner 2026 — celebrating inclusion, empowered lives, and the spirit of 70s Singapore.

Graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Edwin Tong SC, , Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, we were also honoured to welcome H.E. Stephen Marchisio, French Ambassador to Singapore, in support of our shared vision for a more inclusive society.

A meaningful highlight of the night was the signing of an MOU between APSN and OneRHT Foundation. This landmark alliance establishes a long-term framework to provide pro bono legal assistance, future-planning advisory, and inclusive employment advocacy directly to our beneficiaries and their caregivers.

From inspiring performances by APSN Katong School’s Circus Arts and APSN Ensemble to every swing on the green, the night was a true celebration of community and inclusion.

A heartfelt thank you to our valued sponsors for their generous support and belief in APSN’s mission:
• OneRHT Foundation
• Avon
• HSBC
• Equip-Sys Pte Ltd
• Flash Laundry
• Cartimes
• CornerStone

This Hari Raya, APSN schools came together to create celebrations that were both meaningful and impactful. At APSN Katong School, students engaged in classroom activities and lively performances that brought festive traditions to life. APSN Chaoyang School embraced the “Kampong Spirit” through interactive, hands-on experiences that deepened students’ appreciation of Hari Raya customs. At APSN Tanglin School, a heartfelt donation drive and celebration with community guests highlighted the spirit of giving and connection.

Through these shared moments, from cultural learning to meaningful acts of giving, the celebrations reflected the spirit of One APSN, Empowered Lives, where every opportunity becomes a chance to learn, connect and grow together 💚

From school stages to representing Singapore on the world stage.

Megan, 20, began her journey at APSN Delta Senior School, discovering dance and growing in confidence step by step. What started in school soon took her to national and international stages — from National Day Parade 2023 to the World Down Syndrome Congress, and all the way to the Special Olympics World Winter Games!

Each milestone reflects more than achievement. It reflects growth, belief, and possibility unlocked.

This is one of many stories that change lives. Check out https://www.apsn.org.sg/portfolio-item/50-for-50/ to explore more.

For 50 years, APSN has been driven by the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Over 700 of us—staff past and present, Board members, and partners—gathered to celebrate our Golden Jubilee year – Touching Hearts, Shaping Futures.

We were honoured to have Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Social and Family Development and the Ministry of Law join us for an afternoon of celebrations, laughter and a promotion ceremony honouring the incredible hearts that power our mission.

To our donors, caregivers, and volunteers: You are the reason we have thrived for half a century. Together, we celebrate five decades of Empowered Lives and our collective mission for an inclusive tomorrow.
