Farewell Uncle Kalidass 😢

We lost a dear elder today.

Uncle Kalidass was well loved in our Pek Kio community. He served in our Pek Kio CC Indian Activities Executive Committee and Pek Kio community for decades.

I’m thankful I got to speak to him at the hospital two weeks ago before he left us. I will miss visiting him at his home and hearing his stories. He always had a warm smile for me, and was always so very encouraging. He loved it when I shared about my plans to bring back the sports to our beloved Farrer Park.

We will miss you, Sir. Rest in peace and thank you, for all you have done for our community.

What an electrifying evening at Pek Kio CC on 20 December 2025!

The Pek Kio Keeps Rocking event brought our community together with great music, vibrant energy and unforgettable performances.

Thank you to all the performers, organisers, volunteers and residents who made the night truly special. Pek Kio’s spirit and passion continue to shine and yes, Pek Kio keeps rocking! 🤘🎤

🌈 MoCa Harmony Tour 2025 | 13 December 🌈

The MoCa Harmony Tour 2025, jointly organised by Pek Kio CC IAEC and MoCa Harmony Circle, was a truly meaningful and enriching journey that brought our residents together in the spirit of harmony, understanding and shared experiences.

From the insightful visit to Indian Heritage Centre (IHC), to the enriching and welcoming tour of Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, and the wonderful fellowship over a delicious dinner at Gayatri Restaurant, every moment of the tour was thoughtfully planned and deeply appreciated by our residents.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to:

🙏 Indian Heritage Centre (IHC) for the warm hospitality and knowledgeable docents
🙏 Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple for the enriching temple tour, meaningful sharing, and kind refreshments
🙏 Gayatri Restaurant for the excellent food and venue support

🙏 Pek Kio IAEC and MoCa Harmony Circle members & volunteers for their dedication and teamwork

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is conducting two Community Outreach Initiatives/Studies — Vascular Health and Exercise in Diabetes — and is looking for healthy volunteers to participate in an important Vascular Health Study.

This study aims to learn more about blood vessel function in healthy adults, and it’s a great opportunity to contribute to medical research!

Who can participate?

-Aged between 21 and 50 years old

-Do not have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes mellitus, heart disease, or kidney disease
