On 11 May, we had a fruitful Workplan Session where both short-term and long-term plans were thoughtfully discussed. Council Members leading their respective sub-committees shared many exciting ideas and initiatives, reflecting the growing strength and collaboration within the council. As our sub-committee teams continue to expand, more contributions and meaningful discussions were brought forward, with members ready to take action and bring these plans to life.

It was also wonderful to have members join us for the AGM. The session was short and smooth, followed by a pleasant time of mingling and meaningful conversations among members.

Looking forward to another impactful year ahead together đź’«

On 31 March 2026 at Digital Construction Asia 2026 - Digital Construction Across Global Markets: Market Trends & Project Insights

The real question is: Who can execute, scale, and deliver results fastest?

Bringing together:
•Mr. Deric Tay, Regional Sales & Partners Director Asia from Trimble
•Mr. Liew Zi Qing, Head of Digitalisation, Development & Delivery from Sunway Property
•Ms. Setia Dewi Prihapsari, Deputy Director of Data Analytics Division, Center for Data and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Indonesia
•Ms. Vivien Foo, AWiCS Council Member & BCA Director

Moderated by Alain Waha, Chief Technology Officer, Buro Happold

The panel explored what it truly takes to move from innovation to implementation.

Where is Singapore leapfrogging?
⚡ Speed of implementation from innovation
⚡ Strong government-industry alignment
⚡ Adopting AI, automation, and digital workflows with greater certainty.

Across Asia, the strength isn’t just in inventing new tech but in making it work in the real world, quickly and at scale.

🔥 Key takeaway:
Digital construction is no longer a technology problem. It’s an ex*****on challenge. Only then can you reap in maximum benefits.

đź’¬ Call to action:
When you’re back at your desk: pick ONE live project and apply ONE digital tool—end-to-end. No pilots. No half-measures. Just ex*****on.
