A Mother's Wish, A Daughter's Milestone

When Mdm Roselinda learned of her daughter Nadia's graduation, she had just one heartfelt wish—to be there in person. Although she was worried she might not be well enough to attend, the occasion became a source of hope, motivating her to stay strong so she could celebrate this special milestone with her daughter.

As Nadia crossed the stage to receive her graduation certificate, Mdm Roselinda's face lit up with pride and joy. For Nadia, seeing her mother's smile meant just as much. It was a celebration not only of her graduation, but also of her mom's unwavering love and support, making this a moment they both deeply cherish.

Moments like these are made possible by the kindness of our volunteers. Thank you, Xiu Ru and Caral, for helping Mdm Roselinda and family share this lasting moment together.

Happy International Ambulance Wish Day! 💚🚑

In conjunction with the very first International Ambulance Wish Day on 26 July, our volunteers took time to reflect on what fulfilling wishes means to them. From creating joyful memories with families to gaining new perspectives on life, their reflections capture the true heart of our work.

International Ambulance Wish Day also honours the origins of this incredible movement. Founded by Dutch ambulance driver Kees Veldboer, whose act of helping a terminally ill patient led to the creation of the world's first Ambulance Wish Foundation in the Netherlands, Stichting Ambulance Wens Nederland, that simple act of compassion has since inspired chapters around the world.

Today, we thank our volunteers, supporters, donors and partners for making these extraordinary moments possible.

Join us for Tee Off for Wishes, a meaningful day on the greens where every swing helps contribute towards fulfilling the wishes of terminally ill patients.

Happening on Friday, 11 September 2026 at The Singapore Island Country Club, The New Course, this inaugural event brings together golfers, partners, and supporters to enjoy a day of friendly competition, followed by a celebratory dinner and exciting raffle draw prizes.

A celebration of love, family, and resilience

For Ms Cindy Goh, the people closest to her heart have always been her family. Her wish was to have a family photoshoot in the comfort of her home, a place filled with more than two decades of shared memories, love and laughter.

Surrounded by the gentle care of her husband, the loving embraces of her mother and mother-in-law, and the playful banter with her three children, these photographs remind us why a picture is worth a thousand words.

Thank you to our AWS volunteers May Jin, Kelly, Camilia and Wee Nie for helping Ms Cindy to fulfill her heartfelt wish. Special thanks to Kelly for helping with Ms Cindy’s makeup, the beautiful bouquet of sunflowers sponsored by Hello Flowers (), and the nursing aide from Caring Hearts Nursing ().
