Gundam Guild Singapore Updated 2026:
Started building Gunpla at 40 years old (2016) with just a penknife. I had destroyed many kits over the last 10 years.

Collecting & building the Unicorn Series + RX-78-2 from the Original Series, the journey continues. I began my Gunpla journey rather late. As a child, I admired the Gundam series, both the original and Unicorn, but unfortunately, my family's financial circumstances prevented me from pursuing this hobby. Now, as a working adult, I'm determined to recapture some of that "lost childhood" by delving into the world of Gundam model kits, also known as Gunpla. In 2017, I embarked on my building adventure with the RX-0 Unicorn -03 Phenex as my first kit. However, work commitments caused me to pause my Gunpla endeavors in 2018. Fortunately, in 2023, I reignited my passion for building once again. Among the many Gundam models I've assembled, my all-time favorites are the iconic RX-78-2, piloted by Amuro Ray, and the impressive RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, piloted by Banagher Links.

Left the weapons.

Galluss-J AMX-101 (Gundam ZZ) are by far the most beautiful Galluss in my view. The later Schuzrum-Galluss AMX-101E & Galluss-K AMX-101K (Gundam Unicorn) feels like a joke. Then came
Galluss-S AMX-101S (Advance of Zeta: Re-Boot) which was ok then came the most powerful Galluss-G AMX-101G (The Revival of Zeon manga) - and if you think the Galluss looks like a chicken, you are not wrong, the Galluss name was derived from Gallus - which means Chicken.

HG Gundam AMX-101 Galluss-J

The AMX-101 Galluss-J is a close-combat mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, developed by the Axis/Neo Zeon forces. Based on the earlier Galluss series, the Galluss-J was designed primarily for aggressive melee combat, boarding operations, and close-range assaults.

Unlike many mobile suits of its era, the Galluss-J emphasizes physical strength and versatility over heavy ranged firepower. Its most distinctive feature is its powerful right arm, which can be equipped with specialized weapons or tools, making it particularly effective in hand-to-hand combat. The suit also carries missile launchers and other integrated armaments for short-range engagements.

With its bulky, muscular appearance and unconventional proportions, the Galluss-J stands out among Neo Zeon’s more traditional humanoid mobile suits. Its design reflects the experimental and diverse nature of Axis technology during the First Neo Zeon War.

Although not among the most famous machines from Gundam ZZ, the AMX-101 Galluss-J has gained appreciation among Gundam fans for its unique silhouette and brutal combat role. It represents Neo Zeon’s willingness to develop highly specialized mobile suits, sacrificing elegance and versatility in favour of raw close-quarters combat capability.

Recently went to Malacca to Gundam Mania after reading their reviews and recommendations from fellow builders.

If you are a Fan of UC kits, we highly recommend Gundam Mania - I managed to find many kits that was hard to find or overpriced in Singapore.

Thanks Dandy for the great experience!
