Today is Safer Internet Day, when millions around the world unite to promote a safer and more responsible use of online technology around the world.
We are doing our part to contribute to this important effort in 3 ways, and invite you to be part of the efforts too for the sake of our next generation:
1. On 13 Feb (Tue) 8pm over Zoom, we are looking forward to host a conversation with an expert panel that includes a retired principal, on dealing with cyber bullying and online harms. See image for details, and register at bit.ly/saferinternetday2024
2. The Feb series on Brain Defense to equip 9 to 12yo and their parents to deal with screen time management, po*******hy and cyber bullying will start on Thursday. Register at bit.ly/braindefensefeb2024. Dates for the series in March and April are at bit.ly/braindefensemar2024 and bit.ly/braindefenseapr2024
3. A vast majority of online harms are sexual in nature. To support parents in helping their children to deal with them, conversations on how to talk to children and teens about sexuality are now conducted monthly. Pls see details at bit.ly/healthysexuality-feb2024
Let’s work towards a better internet together for the best interest of our children ❤️🇸🇬
Happy Safer Internet Day!!
