Curious Thoughts Giving

On Thursday, July 23, Curious Thoughts co-hosted an exciting Let’s Read English event with The SBL Vision FSC and volunteers from Kuok Group Singapore ! ❤️

The kids took part in fun, hands-on activities that helped them read sight words more fluently. Our teachers prepared arts and crafts, repurposed games, and involved kids in other playful activities. At the end of the event, everyone shared a dinner together; the children received goodie bags and picked out books to read and take home. The volunteers also generously gifted vouchers directly to children who participated in this event.

If you would like to support our giving programmes and make it possible for us to continue operating in service of our community, go to the link in our bio for more information :) 🦉💕

Last week, we just wrapped up the last class of the June-July session of our four-week Let’s Learn English! programme. It really warms our hearts to see the tremendous progress that our kids have made.

The programme teaches kids the same fundamentals of our Jolly Phonics curriculum at Curious Thoughts , focusing on letter sounds and basic blending techniques. This programme is a condensed version of our regular curriculum that we offer to underserved families. We are the only non-profit charitable organization in Singapore that provides free quality literacy classes to children from less privileged backgrounds. We believe in empowering children from all walks of life with an equal and transparent access to quality education—our classes are free and open to all beneficiaries 🦉

CuriousTime is a one-hour child-centered literacy programme that aims to help children, aged 3 to 8 years-old, from low-income families learn how to read and write. ✍️📖

Just like in Curious Thoughts Academy, classes are based on Jolly Phonics and are conducted by experienced & professional full-time teachers.

Slots are limited! Do fill out the form (https://forms.gle/FPPCGa1rrcj3goKY9) and we will contact you shortly.

Curious Thoughts will be providing free phonics lessons for children from less privileged backgrounds. What happened during Let’s Learn English (LLE)? Take a look!

We had the amazing opportunity to organise LLE for the families from Fei Yue! They had a wonderful time learning single sounds through songs and story, applying SmallTalk strategies and having a blast with the activities. Thank you to our volunteers for bringing such contagious energy too!

See you next time and stay tuned for more events to come ☺️
