Real change doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens at the intersection. 🌍✨

Had an incredible session with youth leaders from different backgrounds for the , diving deep into how climate justice and gender equality are two sides of the same coin. We aren’t just talking about the problems; we’re building ground-level solutions and demanding policies that leave no one behind. Thank you to Malkia, Lilian, Fithriyyah and Lineth for representing grassroots voices! When we empower the youth, we aren't just protecting the future—we’re redesigning the present.

What an inspiring first week at CSW70!

We were grateful to welcome partners, youth leaders, and grassroots community practitioners to meaningful conversations on women’s empowerment, youth leadership, and community resilience. We were also deeply thankful to everyone who joined us in celebrating Tzu Chi’s 60th anniversary. This week reminded us that through collective action and compassion, we can continue building a more equitable and sustainable future.

As we move into Week 2, we’re excited to continue the conversation with several upcoming events:
💫 Mar 17: Bridging the Climate, Disaster, and Gender Nexus
💫 Mar 19: Building Peace through Youth Leadership

To be the change we want to see in the world ~

Happy to join the celebration of Tzu Chi's 60th year at the Tzu Chi Center on March 13, happening alongside week 1 of the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women. It's been six decades for Tzu Chi, serving with compassion all around the world consistently. As a woman-founded organization, it was amazing to see the milestones and how every action, big and small, can touch lives and transform communities.

The event was held at the Tzu Chi Center where the walls serve as a witness to some of the heart-wrenching stories of survival and transformation of displaced peoples affected by war and injustice in many countries. Six decades and more to be done — more and better with like-minded partners working for the good of all.

The Artisan Fair at the CSW70 on March 12 unraveled beautiful stories of resilience and empowerment from the Great Love Community in the Philippines post-Haiyan.

Resettlement in the Philippines is impaired by limited economic opportunities, leading to families returning to their old, often unsafe, living conditions. To address this, Tzu Chi Foundation complemented the housing project with livelihood training—from baking pastries to sewing bags and undergarments offered for free especially for housewives, single mothers and out-of-school young women. Today in 2026, residents can stand on their feet with useful skills that help their families meet their needs.

Stay tuned for more moments from and follow our upcoming events!
