Missed it live? Catch the recording of our “Work Stress, Mental Distress” webinar from 22 Oct 2025, 12th Tow Tiang Seng Distinguished Lecture Series — where our panel speakers shared candid and practical insights on staying resilient at work and in life.

🎥 Watch now: https://youtu.be/A_S0SZLKlZU?si=q3CKU1s2IizcgMsA

What you’ll hear:
💬 Dr R. Nagulendran — Real stories from decades in public and private psychiatry, and how he manages heavy caseloads without burning out.
💬 A/Prof Shefaly Shorey — Why “work-life harmony” beats “work-life balance”, with actionable ways to align your roles as a professional, parent and leader.
💬 Adj A/Prof Lee Cheng — The psychology behind stress: what really drives strain, and how control and support at work change the game.

Simple shifts that make a difference:
• Focus fully on one thing at a time — it eases anticipatory stress.
• Aim for harmony, not boundaries — integrate work and life with purpose and compassion.
• Prioritise with courage — protect what truly matters and defer what can wait.
• Practise daily self-care — mindfulness and recovery cycles help prevent burnout.
• Build psychological safety — open conversations and supportive leaders reduce stress.

This webinar is supported by Mind the Gap 200.
