NDCA supports the Multi-Agency Workplace Safety and Health Taskforce (MAST) Advisory on Strengthening Measures for Work-Related Traffic Safety. The advisory was issued in response to the recent rise in work-related traffic accident (WRTA). It highlights the heightened risks faced by workers who drive or ride for work, and emphasises the shared responsibility of employers, platform operators, workers and road users to exercise greater vigilance and stronger safety practices to prevent further accidents and fatalities.

Together, we can strengthen road safety awareness and help reduce work-related traffic accidents.

The world is watching Singapore’s platform work scene.

No, we're not kidding.

Labour organisations from around the world are looking at how Singapore protects and represents platform workers. Our Platform Workers Act has put Singapore at the forefront of platform work regulations, giving workers stronger protections and a formal voice through recognised Platform Work Associations like NDCA.

What we have achieved together is being studied by others around the world.

A reminder that platform workers in Singapore aren't just adapting to change — we're helping shape it. 🇸🇬

⚠️ Reminder on Suspicious Cash-on-Delivery (COD) Orders

NDCA has heard about a resurgence of loanshark-related harassment involving cash-on-delivery (COD) orders on delivery platforms.

If you encounter a suspicious COD order:

✅ Do not harass the debtor or their family members.
✅ Report the order to your platform and submit a claim for compensation if payment is not received.
✅ Keep records of the order and any relevant communication.

Stay vigilant and prioritise your safety.
