We are saddened when “love is love” is misunderstood within our own Muslim community, and when Q***r Muslims are met with suspicion instead of sincerity. When we speak of love, it is not an agenda—it is an expression of our humanity and our faith.
For us, love is sacred. It is rooted in niyyah (intention), compassion, dignity, boundaries, and responsibility—values our faith teaches us to uphold in all relationships.
We are not asking to change beliefs or erase tradition. We are asking to be seen and respected as human beings who also strive for love, peace, and meaning with consciousness and accountability.
Love is love—when it is grounded in faith, integrity, and mercy. 🌙🤍
