Throwback to the Papal Mass. 12 Sep 2024.
CAG is grateful to be present for the Mass amongst the tens of thousands pilgrims gathered at the Sports Hub to stand in solidarity, to pray and worship our wonderful Creator. We were once again reminded as architects/builders to live out our Christian vocation and truly live out the teachings of Laudato Si.

Dear friends,

We are pleased to invite you to our talk series "Faith and Design" where speakers share how their faith integrates with their design practice. Our inaugural session will be helmed by Khoo Peng Beng and Belinda Huang from Arc Studio Architecture + Urbanism.

Among the most progressive architects in Singapore, Peng Beng and Belinda have been instrumental in shaping the architectural landscape of the future.

The 2020 Designers of the Year (President Design Award) are Catholics who have been actively serving in the church in various capacities beyond their profession.

The Catholic Architectural Guild is honoured to have Peng Beng and Belinda share their journey to integrate spirituality into their practice, and we look forward to having you join us at this session.

As architects, our “ordained” primary duty and responsibility is to design the built environment subservient to the nature created by God.

Thus, the urgent paradigm of architects today is to be Healers of the Environment.

Catholic Architectural Guild, via its Guidance Thrust, is developing a “Design Guide” for the built environment, anchored in the goals of Laudato Si, an encyclical of Pope Francis.

Laudato Si is a moral compass on living harmoniously with God’s creation, the way He meant it to be.

If your professional values resonates with the call of Laudato Si, we invite you to join us in developing the Laudato Si Design Guide.
