𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗯: 𝗔 𝗖𝘂𝘁, 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 💙

Thank you, Aidan from Francesco’s Barber Club, for spending time with Mr Chua, not just giving him a fresh haircut, but also creating a space for him to share his story.

Moments like these remind us that care goes beyond the service itself. It’s about connection, dignity, and being heard.

One of the attractions at our upcoming Goodlife Studio (Marine Parade MRT) will be a Barber Lab – a dedicated space where male seniors can enjoy personalised grooming, while also having a safe, relaxed environment to socialise, connect, and share their stories. Because sometimes, a simple haircut can mean so much more.

Active Ageing Reimagined – Coming your way soon at Marine Parade MRT! ✨

At Goodlife by Montfort Care, we believe in creating spaces where seniors can age well, stay active, and stay connected to the community. We are excited to welcome an upcoming addition to our suite of services at Marine Parade – Goodlife Studio (Marine Parade MRT)! 🩵💚

Recently, we offered a sneak peek of the upcoming studio at the soft launch of The Anchor @ Marine Parade Community Care Hub, where residents got a glimpse of a welcoming space designed for connection, participation, and purposeful ageing, where new interests can be explored and friendships can grow.

As part of our ongoing outreach efforts, our team, together with students from Singapore University of Social Sciences, engaged seniors in the neighbourhood to share how the studio will support them in exploring new interests and building friendships.

We look forward to welcoming the Marine Parade community into the space very soon. 🎉

What does active ageing look like in action?

At Goodlife Studio (Bukit Purmei), it takes shape through craftsmanship, creativity, and community. We were honoured to welcome Ms Indranee Rajah (Indranee Rajah), Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, at Goodlife Studio (Bukit Purmei).

During the visit, Ms Indranee observed the carpentry projects created by our senior uncles – each piece reflecting not just craftsmanship, but also their creativity, passion, and continued contributions to the community.

The visit also highlighted how our carpentry-themed programmes support active ageing by giving seniors with meaningful opportunities in the neighbourhood to stay engaged, build meaningful connections, and find purpose through hands-on craftsmanship. Ms Indranee also interacted with our seniors about their projects, making it an inspiring and affirming experience for everyone.
