Congratulations to Ubisoft Singapore on the launch of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced! 🎉

This milestone is more than just the release of an iconic game. It’s also a celebration of the incredible talent that helped bring it to life.

🇸🇬 A large majority of the Ubisoft Singapore team is made up of Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
📈 The studio has also helped to develop a significant number of jobs in the country, including hundreds of internship opportunities, with a large percentage of interns going on to become full-time employees.
🌏 Ubisoft Singapore employees have enjoyed lateral mobility within the Ubisoft organisation, with many going on to work in overseas studios.

Indie Wavemakers Exchange x Charc+r Fest: IP In Play

We are partnering up again to bring Charc+r Fest back! This year’s theme is all about exploring how original IP grows across mediums and creative practices, highlighting OC creators, indie art‑toy designers, and a new Gaming Zone featuring original gaming IP from local creators.

All attendees of IWX will also receive tickets to attend Charc+r Fest for FREE!
We also have special rates for Indie Games who would like to exhibit.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Game Dev Jalan (a cross-collaboration with Game Dev Guild Singapore and IGDA Singapore) last weekend!

It was amazing to see so many people coming together to share ideas, discover indie games and forge new connections. The turnout exceeded our expectations and the atmosphere throughout the event was something special. ✨

Special thanks to NLB Singapore for generously providing the venue space. A huge shoutout to IGDA Melbourne and IGDA Shenzhen for bringing their games over and fostering this international exchange. Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to Razer, our guest speakers, indie developers and everyone who contributed their time and effort to help bring the event to life.

The local game dev scene continues to grow, and this event is a wonderful reminder of what can be built together. 🎮❤️

June 2026 DrinkUp was a special one as we welcomed our new SGGA Exco members who will help lead Singapore’s game industry into its next chapter! 🥳

We were also delighted to host guests from Moscow’s gaming ecosystem, including representatives from the Agency of Creative Industries (https://createdin.moscow/) and Indie Go (https://indie-go.ru/), introduced through Enterprise Singapore.

It was wonderful to see international connections being forged over a shared passion for games and the creative industries. Moments like these remind us how gaming continues to bring communities and ecosystems together across borders.

📢 SGGA 2026-2028 EXCO ELECTIONS - VOTING RESULTS 📢
