Come join us at…AT ONE all is well, Singapore’s largest well-being festival, held in partnership with AT ONE IMPACT Week 2026.

Register and be part of our upcoming workshop Soilful Explorations: Reconnecting with Earth on 10 & 11 Sept, 10am to 11am. If you’re interested in The Living Cycles course, but have not yet explored it, this would be a 1-hour preview into the full-suite of our courses.

Alongside our workshop, check out our community experience from 9 to 11 Sept, Soilful Interactions, a self-guided experience which invites you to engage with collected soils from parts of Singapore, through your senses and the creative expression of painting!

We will also have a special collaboration with Mabellechow, where the harvest of fallen pieces in the garden make their way to becoming part of an ikebana sculpture, happening on 9 Sept, 3pm to 3:30pm.

To join us, do purchase a festival pass which will then give you access to purchase credits for Soilful Explorations via an app. No additional credits need to be purchased for Soilful Interactions. More details in the link to the festival pass.

Since 2024, we have been a community partner at Singapore University of Social Sciences, mentoring groups of students over the semesters for NIE301 Learning with Communities. Together, we have worked towards developing a framework for a Community Literature Review (CLR), to source, read and digest knowledge that may be harder to access and understand, with much more fun as a community!

We are excited to finally share a piece of our journey, a podcast created by the students of Feb-Aug 2026, intended to share the insights they have gained during their experience of CLR, where they draw the connections between soil, human health and urbanisation. (Link to the podcast in our bio)

If you’re interested to experience a CLR or join us in further developing it, scan the QR code on slide 9 to fill out a form. We look forward to connecting with you!

This podcast episode and supporting IG post were written, designed, produced and directed by the students from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

When we talk about Maju Forest, Gilman Barracks, or Long Island, it can feel like isolated events. But they are part of a much longer, interconnected story.

We all know: this isn’t the first time Singapore’s landscape has been transformed.

From the forests of Tengah to the kampungs of Siglap, from Pulau Blakang Mati to the farms of Khatib, generations of Singaporeans have witnessed forests cleared, coastlines redrawn, hills levelled, villages relocated, and entire ways of life disappear beneath new layers of development.

We hope this post serves as a collective remembering that every landscape carries stories of these deeply interconnected worlds, ecological, cultural, and human/plant/animal kin. When land changes, more than the physical terrain is transformed.

As Singapore continues to evolve, perhaps the questions we need to ask are:

What stories have we forgotten?
What relationships with land have we lost, and are about to lose?
What futures are we creating, and for whom?
What is still within our power to protect, document, and shape?

If these conversations matter to you:
* Join SG Climate Rally at Hong Ling Park tomorrow, 16th August 2026 (Sunday) from 3.30pm-6.30pm.
* Read SG Climate Rally’s document ‘MAJU FOR THE PEOPLE’
* Support the petitions for Maju Forest and Gilman Barracks.
* Join the Citizen Film Project documenting the changing East Coast coastline.
* Share your memories, stories, and observations of the places you call home.

This season, Living Soil Asia is bringing our full cycle of soil regeneration courses into the workshop space of Circular Fashion Hub (CFH), yet again! CFH is a community-driven space championing circularity and sustainable fashion right here in Singapore.

Why a course on soil in a fashion-centred space?

Regeneration touches every aspect of life! What happens in the fashion industry flows downstream into our soils and waters, where dye pollution and textile waste shape the health of ecosystems and agriculture alike (but more on this later!)...

Across all four courses/10 lessons, we’ll explore soil through a holistic, systems lens, rooted in our lived experiences working on the land in Singapore and regionally. Expect hands-on learning, multimedia explorations, dynamic discussions, and yes… getting your hands dirty! 🤲🏼

To gather in spaces like this is to remember we are part of the larger fabric of life 😉

Join us. 🌱🌀

Head to Living Soil Asia’s website to learn more about the upcoming courses and check out our new course page!

All our courses are held in-person, in Singapore.

🌱 Come find us at World Environment Day @ Tengah!

Living Soil Asia will be at Tengah Community Club on 6 June, 3–7pm.

Drop by our booth to learn about composting, regenerative ways of gardening and what it really means to care for the soil beneath our feet.

Whilst you’re in the area, swing by Am Plantae to meet our new friend Mei, and to check out all her wonderful plant -based products! You’re invited to bring your own reusable cup or mug and enjoy 10% off smoothies and beverages. 🌿 LSA will also be having a mini-pop up community library in the shop!

The day is packed with SO much more too! Explore booths from NEA, SPCA, Cat Welfare Society, Tzu Chi Foundation, and more. There will be workshops, performances, and many great conversations to be had.

Don’t miss The Finger Players at around 4:30pm as they bring local stories to life through a charming finger puppet performance, all crafted from recycled materials! 🎭 Then head over to Carbon Compass by Terra SG, an interactive exhibition that shows you exactly how your daily habits affect your carbon footprint. Andddd, keep an eye out for Anywheel, who’ll be giving away free bike passes on the day!

Round off the evening with a screening of Ocean with David Attenborough (2025) at 7pm. Grab your strawmat and popcorn, and stay for the quiz with giveaway vouchers after. 🎬🌊
