Monthly Walk - National Day 2025 Special Edition 🇸🇬

Last year, we walked from Singapore’s last kampung to a modern village (Anchorvale Village). This year, we’re heading futuristic to rustic—from the sleek Punggol Digital District to scenic Coney Island, and back to the newly opened Punggol Coast Hawker Centre!

🗺 Choose your adventure:
🌿 Volunteer-led Guided Walk (approx. 5km+): Explore Coney Island's trails—gentle slopes, sandy paths, and rustic charm. (MODERATE: may not be suitable for those who has mobility issues or young kids who cannot walk 5km within 1.5 hr)

🏙 Free & Easy (Self-guided) : Wander around the Punggol Digital District and/ or Punggol Point District, check out the rooftop gardens (at HDB blocks) or stroll to the nearby Punggol Point Jetty at your own pace.

🥐 End with breakfast (at your own expense) at Punggol Coast Hawker Centre, the SIT campus' 2 food courts, or the cafés within Punggol Coast Mall.

Good morning Residents. New Year, New Monthly Walk! Starting 2024, join us every 2nd weekend of the month for our favourite monthly activity.

On Jan 13 (Sat), lace up your walking shoes for a journey through Marina Bay, the C*D, and the enchanting Chinatown. Marvel at Chinese New Year decorations along the way.

Wrap up the walk at Maxwell Food Centre, home to renowned food stalls. Craving something else? Chinatown Complex is just across the road for your exploration. After breakfast, dive into shops for pre-CNY goodies (CNY Fair kicks off on Jan 19).

Heads up: It's a 3.5km walk to the pick-up point. If Nov 2023's 3.5km stroll (Sengkang Riverside to Punggol) was a challenge, this might be too. Not recommended for those under 10 or unable to walk continuously for 1hr 20min.

居民早上好! 新的一年，新的每月步行！从2024年开始，每个月的第二个周末和我们一起走走，探索我们的国家。

1月13日（星期六），我们会到滨海湾、中央商业区和牛车水走走。一路上我们可能会看到农历新年装饰。

终点是麦士威熟食中心 (Maxwell Food Centre)。 里面有很多著名的小吃摊。想吃点别的吗？牛车水大厦（Chinatown Complex）就在马路对面。早餐后，也许你可以利用这个机会购买一些年货。

注意：全程距离3.5km。如果2023年11月的3.5km步行(从盛港河畔到榜鹅）是个大挑战的话，不建议您参加本月活动。不建议10岁以下或无法持续行走1小时20分钟的人参加。
