We are Facilitators@NUS – a collaborative community that connects facilitators with facilitation opportunities within the NUS student community in a conducive learning environment. Starting with our mantra of “experiential learning”, we serve the NUS student community through hands-on events, including a series of camps, semester enrichment workshops, and teambuilding programmes. By working with t

he crowd, our facilitators learn from personal interactions with individuals and insights of team needs, while participants enjoy the process of forming connections, promoting an active two-way communication. Our team relies on the power of individual learners seeking more personal and collective experiences in their time in NUS, and promises a holistic learning curve that transcends the typical experience in clubs.

🤔 Why do we ask questions? We ask to uncover a deeper layer beneath what we see, and to know more about someone or something. 🧐

🧠 Beyond working toward direct benefits — like securing internships or jobs, successfully influencing others, and winning arguments — let's explore the other ways in which asking good questions benefits us 🙌

🎯 Through this session, we will learn how asking purposeful questions:
• Cultivates interest in others and ourselves (thereby strengthening our bonds with each other) 🤝
• Improves personal growth and facilitation (including cultivating our personal brand, games leadership, and more!) 📈

In a blick of an eye, it is now time for the current Exco to step down and welcome potential exco candidates😉Last Tuesday, we had our annual elections for the upcoming Exco for AY22/23! Good job to all the candidates (y'all did so well!) and for organising the elections🥰

Week 12: Games Leadership ✅
This week, we had some students from the NUS community to join us to learn about Games Leadership😁 Participants got to experience various kinds of orientation games AND also learn how to organize games to bond and forge friendships among new people!
We hope you manage to take away some useful learning points from our session😉

Week 11: Speakeasy Cards✅
This week, we used Speakeasy Cards to spark off interesting, deep and fun conversations among participants 📢. Centred around questions and pictures, these conversations allowed the participants to learn more about themselves and the people around them🙂

It was really nice to hear many interesting stories and experiences from different participants, and surely a session to remember with new perspectives and good conversations 🙌

A huge thank you to our PDs and@fhaosheng for planning this session and our facils for making this session possible 😀!
