We’re back with another pickleball clinic jointly organised with UPA Asia – this time bringing our senior beneficiaries and partners together on the same court.

Pickleball is a sport for all ages, and for many of our seniors, the session was a wonderful opportunity to grow their familiarity and confidence with the game. With guidance from Pro Pickleball Athlete Ryan Ng, they enthusiastically took part in warm-ups, practice drills, and friendly rallies to strengthen their skills.

We were also glad to have our partners join us in this experience as we continue gearing up for Rally For Good. Moments like these remind us that Rally For Good is about more than what happens on the court - it is about showing up for one another and strengthening the support around the communities we journey with.

Giving back to the community can take many forms.

For Mr Ho and Mdm Karen Lim, it means sharing their love for line dancing with fellow seniors – helping to create a space where learning never stops. Through these sessions, seniors aren’t just staying active; they are finding companionship, purpose and something to look forward to each week.

These weekly sessions are only one part of the senior couple’s already busy routine, as they also care for their grandchildren. Even so, they continue showing up week after week, finding fulfilment in knowing that what they do matters.

Their journey reflects how Allkin’s Active Ageing Centres can empower seniors to contribute, share their strengths, and make a difference in the community.

Funds raised through Rally For Good, Allkin’s ongoing fundraiser, helps boost programmes and initiatives like these, to ensure more seniors can be fulfilled in this season of their lives.
