It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of the newly elected Kazak Türkleri Vakfi president, Mr. Faruk AKSEL. He took office with great enthusiasm, vigor, and strong support, eager to make a difference. Though his time in the role was tragically short, his impact was profound. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the community, and we hope KTV will continue on the bright path he began to pave.

A couple of weekends ago, on November 23, we attended the Kazakh Film Weekend in Stockholm. We were honored to represent our Västerås Kazakh community and happily accepted an invitation from our dear friend Spartak Zikrin from the Stockholm Kazakh Association, .sweden
During the event, we had the pleasure of meeting our new Kazakh Ambassador, His Excellency Olzhas Suleimenov, who officially started his role just last month! We gave him a warm welcome and shared our enthusiasm for collaborating more closely with the embassy. Olzhas is a seasoned diplomat and we are honored to have him. The event was held at Filmhuset (the Swedish Film Institute) and brought together about 150 guests, including diplomats, cultural and public figures, business professionals, and, of course, our Kazakh friends in Stockholm. We watched the film Tomiris—a fantastic experience!
