Hi all! I have 4 healthy adorable 13-week-old kittens up for adoption. They will be castrated, chipped, and fully vaccinated by November 12th and the adoption fee will then be 3500kr. They can also move to their new home earlier for 2500kr + 1000kr deposit, in which case the castration and second vaccination would have to be arranged by the new family and proof would need to be sent to me to get the 1000kr deposit back.
I would love for the kittens to get to go outside, either by themselves or on leash, when they reach 16-18 months old. I would prefer for them not to be strict indoor cats as they may end up under-stimulated.
I always want kittens to have a friend to play with, no kitten shall be adopted as a single pet. So they can be adopted in pair (or more) or as a single kitten if you have a playful dog/cat/bunny friend at home.
When adopting a cat from me, there is first an adoption trial period to make sure you and the cat are a good match before making the adoption official. You also get FREE advice forever concerning any cat-related issue and a reduced price on the netting of your balcony ❤️❤️

Adoption procedure:

3. meeting the cat in the foster home

Hi all! Those last few weeks have been intense with both good and bad. On the brighter side, 10 adoptions are currently on-going and I'm interviewing new foster homes. On the not so bright side, I've had massive expenses: Buddy's teeth, Lunalee's teeth and Grace's teeth are done. But I've also had unplanned expenses: our forever foster female Cayenne got a urinary infection, then forever foster Murphy got an abcess after getting into a fight outside (if he doesn't go out, he gets urinary blockage from the stress of being confined..). I also picked up some kittens who will need to be chipped and vaccinated (READY FOR ADOPTION IN 3 WEEKS!!). And I picked up 3 cats from a hoarding situation this week... and I have 4 cats in line coming in within a few weeks... I haven't even started on the calendar yet as I'm still building balcony nets on weekends to pay the vet bills and constantly busy with adoption procedures. We have some cats that are still up for adoption and longing for their forever home:
1. Bibbi and Maggie, 3-year-old females, can only be adopted TOGETHER. VERY SHY at first, love to play and be near, but not willing to cuddle much yet, but making progress every day. Very goofy and entertaining to watch. Indoor cats with netted balcony. No kids, seem to get along with non-dominant cats. Need a calm home. Healthy, castrated, chipped, vaccinated, insured including TR-FORL. 2000kr per cat.
2.Grace, 3-year-old female, VERY cuddly, very playful. Wants to be an outdoor cat in a safe area. Does not like other cats, could possibly do well with a nice dog. Very sweet and gentle, would do fine with kids over 6 years old. Healthy, castrated, chipped, vaccinated, insured including TR-FORL. 2500kr.
3. Kittens, ready for adoption in 3 weeks (will be 14 weeks old). 2500kr per kitten. Healthy, chipped, vaccinated, insured including TR-FORL. If adopted after 4 months old, will then be castrated and the adoption fee will go up to 4000kr per kitten. Can only be adopted in pair/trio or as single IF you have a furry playmate at home (cat, dog, rabbit...).
4. Milo, 12-year-old male, a bit shy at first but VERY cuddly once he feels safe, loves company, loves to play and run. Would work with gentle calm kids, could possibly do well with other pets. Indoor cat with a netted balcony. Could possibly be an outdoor cat. Healthy, castrated, chipped, insured, vaccinated. 1500kr.

The constant heartache of this rescuing thing takes a heavy toll...
In May, we were forced to say goodbye to our little Mizzi because his kidneys and heart were failing... Mizzi joined our family after living 16 years on the streets. He was in horrible condition and we weren't sure he was going to make it. But not only did he make it, he lived 3 more years and loved every moment of it. He loved to cuddle, play, taste and steal human food, and loved to remind our other males that he was boss 😹💕 Losing him was rough, as every loss is, but it felt like there was no time to mourn, there was just too much to do with the rescue.... every time we lose a little soul, it feels like there's just no time to process the loss because some other cats need help right away...
In June, just a couple weeks after losing Mizzi, we took in Nisse, a 19-year-old male whose owner passed away. Despite severe health issues, he did remarkably well, went up in weight, loved cuddles, loved trying to steal human food and going in the yard. He started losing appetite 2 weeks ago, and it went downhill from there... Nisse had anemia as well as occasional seizures that he recovered quickly from... until monday. He had a different seizure on monday; that one took away his energy and appetite... and another seizure on Wednesday forced us to take the tough decision to say good bye 💔
We love to give old sick cats their final home where they can feel loved, get to go out in the safety of a big enclosure, and get the medical care they need. But running this sort of cat retirement home unfortunately implies a repeated heartache caused by losing one beautiful soul after the other... it hurts and we lose both energy and hope for a while, but we just keep pushing through to help the next one 💕

Hi all! I need your help again ❤️... animal shelters are crawling on their knees under the number of animals being surrendered to us for different reasons, dumped outside after the summer, and homeless cats asking for help now that the nights are getting colder.... the last few cats I took in have and will cost me a lot of money 💰, which I will soon run out of...
Jerry 😻 is a 9-year-old male who was neglected by his family. His brother, who also had health issues, was shot by the family because they didn't want to spend money to help him... Jerry was next... but a neighbor convinced the family to surrender him instead and saved Jerry from that terrible fate. After some big bills, Jerry is now on track to a new life: his double entropion (eyelids rolling inwards causing painful friction on the cornea) has been fixed, his heart murmur has been investigated by a cardiologist, his teeth have been fixed, and he has been chipped and vaccinated.
Grace 😻 is a 3-year-old lady found in Uppsala, covered in very painful mats that were tearing off her skin, she was also skin and bones. She got so panicked during the first trip to the vet that she broke her canine tooth trying to get out of the cage... so that was another big bill to pay at the dentist. I think she was terrified that I would leave her back on the streets, because now that she's been through a couple of trips in the cage, she's not panicking at all anymore, she's become a lot more trusting and relaxed.
Lunalee 😻 6 years old, never had a dental cleaning in her life and it is long overdue. That's another 5000SEK.
Finally, one of latest recruits, Buddy 😻, is a 10-month-old male who was found in Uppsala, certainly dumped after the summer. He was stressed, very hungry, and was screaming for help. He got castrated, chipped, and vaccinated. But he was found to have an overbite, which means the jaws are not properly aligned. The upper jaw is too far forward, so the upper canines are severely damaged from hitting the lower canines and the lower canines are hitting the upper gum pretty hard. So he's booked at the dentist for September 17th, but this is gonna be a big bill that i don't have money for... so if you can afford it, please help me help Buddy by donating via SWISH at 1230412213, Föreningen Rädda Katterna, please mark it "Buddy". Spikey is a big 2-year-old pure Norwegian male, super social, super playful, very energetic, loves attention, NEEDS to go out in a safe environment without too much traffic, does not like other cats, would probably do great with dogs, loves kids, loves to play fetch, super curious about everything and wants to be where the action is. Afraid of nothing and no-one 😹

Urgent! Please share! Foster home or adoptive home needed for Spikey!
I need a big foster home OR any size of foster home on the ground floor where Spikey can go out relatively safely. Spikey was an outdoor cat but his owner became too sick to take care of him so he is currently living in a small foster home and he's very understimulated and is not feeling very well because of it. Spikey is a super social, super sweet, super cuddly, super playful 2-year-old pure-bred Norwegian male. He would do great with kids, would probably be just fine with dogs, and could possibly do fine with other cats. Castrated, chipped, vaccinated, insured including TR-FORL.
