This documentary follows two teenagers, Bo and Luca, through four years of growing up while fighting for climate justice. Their story shows how activism, friendship, and imagination come together in a world where the future of the planet is at stake.

The director, uses film to explore how young people’s lives and dreams intersect with global challenges. His work has been shown at major festivals and often highlights the human side of urgent social issues.

🍃 In a fantastic apocalyptic world, this short film asks: what if nature took revenge on us? Could humans become the dish on the planet’s food chain?

The director works with film to explore how reality and imagination mix, using stories and images to raise big questions about our future. His film Cadeia Alimentar won the best film award at São Paulo Film Festival. He has also directed other award winning works and taught cinematic language in Rio de Janeiro.

👉 Why is this film relevant for 9th graders?
Because it connects climate change and human rights to questions of responsibility: What happens if we don’t take care of the planet? How does the environment shape our future?

Rättighetsbio is a specially curated film program for 9th graders, designed to spark reflection and conversation about human rights, sustainability, and the world around us.

Each screening highlights pressing social and environmental issues, giving students a chance to learn, discuss, and be inspired through the power of film.

From thought-provoking documentaries to compelling stories, Rättighetsbio invites young audiences to explore big questions and think critically about the role they can play in shaping a fairer and more sustainable future. 🩷
