Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Madeira, Portugal 🇵🇹

What if failure was not something to avoid, but something to learn from?

to join a transformative 9-day Erasmus+ Youth Exchange designed to challenge perfectionism, overcome fear of rejection, and build real resilience!

What is THE COURAGE TO FAIL?

An international youth exchange bringing together 36 young people to:

• Confront personal fears & challenge the pressure to “have it all figured out”

• Break social media standards & tackle perfectionism in a safe space

• Step out of your comfort zone through outdoor challenges & interactive workshop uild intercultural connections and inspire change within yourself & your community

📍Location: Madeira, Portugal 🇵🇹

🏡 Accommodation: Shared rooms with international participants (same gender)

🥘 Costs: Participation, meals & stay are fully covered + travel reimbursed according to Erasmus+ limits!

📆 Duration: 9 days (7 activity days + 2 travel days)

👥 If you’re 19-23 years old, ready to grow, challenge yourself, and stop letting fear holding you back, this project is for you!

This phrase perfectly describes my entire journey with Future Train International ✨
So, let’s wrap up two months of my ESC volunteering journey! 🍀

To begin with, my camera is still carrying at least 10GB of content I created during this time, capturing people, projects, genuine human interactions, and a non-stop learning process.

The biggest insight? I’ve learned to be truly present in the moment, because you never know what life brings you next.

These two months with Framtidståget flew by so fast. Being part of the SOULVIA project let me contribute to the Ukrainian community. At the same time, I took a proactive role in the international projects department, learning how to write project proposals and coordinate them.

I’m leaving this experience so much more confident in my skills, but most importantly, with a heart full of gratitude for the people.

Looking forward to whatever comes next! 🤞

My two-month volunteering experience with Framtidsståget has come to an end.🥹🫶🏻
What an experience it has been! I’m so happy I got to be part of SOULVIA project and, even far from home, work with Ukrainians and contribute to the community once again.
During these two months, I got to do so many different things. From communication and content creation to community building, outreach, partnerships, and events. I learned a lot, tried new things, met inspiring people, and became more confident in my skills along the way.
But what I’ll remember most from this experience is the people. The team that became friends, the new connections, the conversations, and all the little moments along the way.

A little chapter full of new experiences, people, and memories.

And that’s a wrap on BudgetWise! 💸✨ 

What an unforgettable week! Over 7 action-packed days, we explored fresh, hands-on approaches to financial literacy , from interactive simulations to real cultural exchanges. 

Before saying goodbye, participants took center stage as trainers, test-running their own created workshops and gathering feedback. We packed all the week’s best tools, insights, and ideas into the “Ultimate BudgetWise Manual” and officially wrapped up with our Youthpass certificates . 

The course might be over, but the real journey begins now as everyone takes these tools back home to make an impact in their local communities!

Hej everyone! Daniela back, and I’ve started another ESC project, this time in Spain! For the rest of 2026 I’m going to be in the Ebro River Delta with SEO BirdLife at Riet Vell Nature Reserve SEOBirdLife_Delta

Here you can find me taking a census of the fauna - birds and macro-invertebrates (bugs), checking the bird boxes for baby birds, some general maintenance, monitoring for invasive species, and much more! But we start early, at sunrise, before the heat and humidity set in. Then in the afternoons, we bicycle down to the beach for a refreshing swim

This October, INNER VOICES brings young people together in Conil de la Frontera, Spain, for an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange exploring migration, identity and belonging through storytelling.🎙️📸🎬

For 9 days, we’ll listen, question, create and turn stories into powerful visual and creative pieces, while learning how to tell stories with dignity, consent and care.
