Then kitchen of the heart is for you. The kitchen aims to give all people regardless of economic background a chance to come together around the most important common denominator of the human family, food,
free of cost. By serving food that is made with love, our only hope is that those who stop by to eat at our free kitchen will leave with a stomach that is full and a heart that is happy. This is the kitchen's vision, to extend beyond the realm of the five senses into the realm of the unseen, that realm where love is the force that has the potential to unite us all as living beings. We are currently based in Stockholm, Sweden and since that is the case our short term goal is to serve a weekly meal in varying public places around the city. Our long term goals are four, and they are as follows :
- To globally spread the vision of people sharing the joy of a free meal together
- Play our part in reducing physical hunger and reduce the number of malnourished people from around 800 million to 0.
- Help to maintain spiritual and mental well being
- Inculcate the spirit of altruism into the hearts of the coming generations
