The Espersen Foundation was created with the intent to make a noticeable difference in African peoples lives through collaboration, partnership and empowerment. The purpose of the foundation is to support education, development, health and culture, primarily in Ghana but also in other African countries. To this end, we are both initiating our own projects and investing in already on-going projects
. Currently, our focus is on promoting education, development, health and culture in Ghana - the reason for this being that the board already possesses considerable knowledge about this country and has an extensive contact-net in the country. In the future we hope to widen our scope to other African countries - this would require more in-debt knowledge and contacts in the country concerned. Donations are of course very welcome - 100% of the donated money goes into the projects of the foundation, if you wish to donate your money to a specific project, please write a comment as the payment is made. The projects/goals we are currently working on are:
- To distribute school uniforms, shoes and school material for 100 pupils in Northern Ghana, and to pay the school fee for these students.
