Welcome to Rotaract Campus Stockholm on facebook! We are a group made up by mainly students in Stockholm. We all have a common interest in personal development, community service, international service and networking. Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract stands for "Rotary in Action". Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million
members. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. What is our motto? "Service above self"
What do we do when we meet? We meet and mingle. We listen to all kinds of inspiring people sharing their views on life and life stories with the goal to inspire and develop us. What do Rotaract do? All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. Why is the information in english when we're in Sweden? The members and guests of the Rotaract Campus Stockholm want people from all countries to feel welcome. Therefore we have decided to choose English as our official club language so that when people from any of the other 170 member countries can feel free to come and visit os when in Stockholm either long or short term. What current service projects are we involved with? Our current projects involve helping the organization UKV, which is an organization who helps young women in society. Who can join us? Are you a student in Stockholm who likes to meet new people, exchange contacts and experiences with like and unlike-minded people. Do you who think it sounds interesting to get involved in projects that help others, locally and globally. Then maybe this club is something just for you!
