The organization's vision is a more developed and more secure Africa for the children. The goal is to contribute materials to schools, such as books, pencils and furnitures. The long-term goal is to build elementary schools in Africa. The name; Flower of Africa, is a metaphor for knowledge that can prosper and grow in the future and heart of Africa – the children. Our work assumes that all childre
n should have the right to go to school and get an education (with a food programme). Education is the main weapon against poverty. Something that we also want to fight for is to increase awareness of basic hygiene, as this is a recurring problem in many less developed. Knowledge is one of the keys and the solution to the poor conditions that many children have to grow up with. We strongly believe that the children are the future. Let them contribute to a more secure, independent and developed Africa! Flower of Africa has its headquarters in Kalmar, Sweden, and has currently no office. All projects and actions are brought up at the board meetings and annual meetings we have once a year.
