Join us on December 9th for a panel discussion in honor of Orange Day and the 16 Days of Activism.
This event is a collaboration between our focus group The Equality Group and the Human Rights Group within UNA Sweden Gothenburg.💛

Our panelists Maria Clara Medina and Jasmina Haapanen will share insights from their work on men’s violence against women, digital violence, and the broader challenges and possibilities within prevention and support.

The discussion will be held in English and is open to everyone who wants to learn, reflect and take part in the conversation.

International Men’s Day reminds us that men play a crucial role in ending violence against women. Change begins when men listen, reflect and challenge the norms that allow harm to continue.

On the 25th of November, we stand with survivors and demand a world where safety is not a privilege but a right. Men’s accountability, courage and compassion are essential in building that world.

Every 11 minutes, a woman or girl is killed by someone in her own family.
85 percent of women have experienced or witnessed online abuse.
Less than 40 percent of survivors ever report what happened.

These are not just numbers.
These are lives.
These are stories.
These are women we love.

🟧 On Orange Day we refuse silence.
🟧 We stand with survivors.
🟧 We demand justice.

A day that reminds us that violence against women and girls is not a distant issue. It happens in our homes, in our streets, and in our digital spaces. It can be silent, but its impact is never small.

Digital spaces should not be dangerous spaces. They should be places where women can exist, speak, and live freely without fear.

🧡 We stand with survivors everywhere.
🧡 We raise our voices for those who have been silenced.
🧡 We will keep fighting until everyone can feel safe online and offline.
