On 22 May, the ALF Swedish network held a workshop on Intercultural Competences with Patrick Gruczkun (Samarbetsbolaget).

How to lead sustainably?!

On 12 May we had a great workshop on Sustainable Leadership and Well-being delivered by our network members SwIdeas and Wellbeing LAB.

We reflected on personal leadership styles, took a quiz on burn-out and started an action plan on what we want to develop in our leadership styles and daily work life in general.

Thank you to our trainers Julia, Hanna and Karolina. And, big thanks to the 24 civil society leaders who took part in the workshop.

Next practitioners lab will take place in Stockholm at Medelhavsmuseet on 22 May about intercultural competences with our member Patrick Gruzckun from Samarbetsbolaget.

Last month, our network member SWEDO - The Swedish Development Aid Organization organised a hybrid workshop "Where Trust Takes Shape, Collective Art as Intercultural Dialogue" with participants from Sweden and Palestine.

The workshop was conducted simultaneously at three physical locations in Sweden (Umeå, Vindeln and Visby) and two physical locations in Palestine (Ramallah and Bethlehem).

‼️Important notice from the Anna Lindh Foundation about the Forum in Limassol on 27-28 April ‼️

In light of the current developments in the region and the uncertainty surrounding the situation, the ALF has decided to postpone AgorALF 2026 which was scheduled to take place on 27–28 April in Limassol, Cyprus.
This decision follows close monitoring of the situation and consultations with partners and stakeholders involved in the organisation of the event.

Last week, 95% of the forty panel discussions and intercultural creative workshops, six networking activities and seven planed musical performances and interactive activities were prepared and ready to be carried out. This has therefore been a difficult decision to take. However, ensuring appropriate conditions to allow for full participation remain a non-negotiable priority for us.

All participants, speakers, partners, and applicants have been contacted directly with the relevant information and next steps.

We remain committed to organising it at a later date, once the situation in the region allows. We are grateful for the commitment and efforts of our partners and stakeholders and we thank you for your understanding.
