Its foundation was laid in January 2008 by Muslims gathering in study circles on daily basis. The aim behind the organization was to convey the true message of Islam and their cultural activities in Sweden. From the initial efforts till today, ICCS has expanded immensely with approximately 300 members. ICCS involves study circles, social activities, relief work, Dawah on the Internet and youth programs. We strive to generate awareness amongst the local Muslim communities via Allah SWT’s revealed Guidance, following the life example of His last Messenger, Mohammed (peace and blessings of Allah he upon him). The efforts of ICCS are motivated by deep insights gained from the Glorious Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet, Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in support of the gallant Muslim history. We are aware of the fact that Muslim communities in the West faces tremendous challenges to lead their lives according to the guidelines of Quran and Sunnah. To overcome these challenges, collective efforts are required. ICCS aims to provide a platform enhancing these efforts by sharing its message and vision with the general Swedish community. It collaborates both with Muslim organizations and interfaith groups to achieve the above mentioned goals. By focusing on self-development, education, study trips and social services, ICCS has recognized itself as a leading grass root organization in the Swedish Muslim community.
