في ظل الظروف المأساوية التي تمر بها مدينة الفاشر، تزداد معاناة آلاف العائلات التي نزحت إلى منطقة طويلة بحثاً عن الأمان، حيث تواجه نقصاً حاداً في الغذاء والمأوى وأبسط مقومات الحياة.

نحن في منظمة كافا للتنمية نطلق هذا النداء العاجل لدعم أهلنا هناك، ونعلن عن بدء تدخلنا بتكية الفاشر - طويلة

In light of the tragic circumstances that El Fasher city is going through, the suffering of thousands of families displaced to Tawila in search of safety is intensifying, as they are facing severe shortages of food, shelter, and the basic essentials of life.

We, at CAFA Development Organization, launch this urgent appeal to support our people there, and we announce the start of our intervention through the El Fasher – Tawila Community Kitchen.

Sanitation Improvement Efforts – CAFA Organization

As part of its mission to improve sanitation and reduce the spread of communicable diseases, CAFA constructed and installed 80 improved communal latrines in Altabarat, Alshawal, and Goz Alsalam camps, White Nile State. Each latrine serves about 50 people, benefiting roughly 4,000 individuals, with integrated hand-washing stations to promote hygiene practices. The facilities were built according to Ministry of Health and UNICEF standards, ensuring safety, privacy, and gender sensitivity. This intervention supports CAFA’s goal of providing safe, cleanable, and accessible sanitation services to crisis-affected communities. CAFA remains dedicated to sustainable and inclusive WASH solutions.

جهود تحسين خدمات الإصحاح – منظمة كافا

ضمن رسالتها في تحسين خدمات الإصحاح والحد من انتشار الأمراض المعدية، نفذت منظمة كافا بناء وتركيب 80 مرحاضًا مجتمعيًا محسنًا في مناطق التبرات، الشوال، وقوز السلام بولاية النيل الأبيض. يخدم كل مرحاض حوالي 50 شخصًا، ليستفيد ما يقارب 4,000 فرد، مع توفير وحدات لغسل اليدين لتعزيز ممارسات النظافة. تم البناء وفقًا لمعايير وزارة الصحة واليونيسف، مع مراعاة الأمان، الخصوصية، وحساسية النوع الاجتماعي. يحقق هذا التدخل أحد أهداف كافا في توفير مرافق صحية آمنة، قابلة للتنظيف، وسهلة الوصول للمجتمعات المتأثرة. تواصل كافا التزامها بحلول WASH مستدامة وشاملة

Latrine Cleaning Kits Distribution – CAFA Organization

As part of CAFA’s ongoing efforts to improve sanitation in target communities, 40 comprehensive latrine cleaning kits were procured and distributed to designated sanitation committees. This initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of local hygiene actors in maintaining clean, safe, and functional sanitation facilities. The distribution supports sustainable hygiene practices and encourages community-led upkeep. It also helps reduce environmental health risks linked to poor sanitation. CAFA remains committed to empowering local structures for long-term impact.

توزيع أدوات تنظيف المراحيض – منظمة كافا

في إطار جهود كافا المستمرة لتحسين خدمات الإصحاح في المجتمعات المستهدفة، تم شراء وتوزيع 40 مجموعة شاملة من أدوات تنظيف المراحيض على اللجان المجتمعية المختصة. تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تعزيز قدرات الفاعلين المحليين في الحفاظ على مرافق صحية نظيفة وآمنة وصالحة للاستخدام. تدعم هذه الخطوة ممارسات النظافة المستدامة وتشجع المجتمعات على المبادرة الذاتية في الصيانة. كما تسهم في تقليل المخاطر الصحية البيئية المرتبطة بسوء الإصحاح. تواصل كافا التزامها بتمكين المجتمعات لتحقيق أثر طويل المدى.

Mass Communication Activity – CAFA Organization

At CAFA, we implemented a mass communication activity to raise awareness on key hygiene and health practices. Using community theatre, public loudspeakers, posters, and SMS, we delivered clear messages in local languages to reach diverse communities. The activity helped simplify health information, promote positive behavior, and counter misinformation. Urban and rural areas were both targeted to ensure inclusive outreach. This initiative reflects CAFA’s commitment to accessible and impactful communication.
