الولاية الشمالية - معسكر العفاض 📍

استهدفت الفعالية الأسر النازحة من مدينة الفاشر بمعسكر العفاض، بمشاركة واسعة من متطوعي المنظمة والمنظمات الشريكة. تضمن البرنامج محاضرة متخصصة حول التوعية بمخاطر الألغام والذخائر الحربية غير المنفجرة، بهدف تعزيز حماية الأطفال وسلامة الأهالي من مخلفات الحروب.
كما تخلل فقرات إبداعية وأناشيد قدمها أطفال المعسكر، بالإضافة إلى مسابقات ثقافية وتوزيع جوائز تحفيزية. وأبدى سكان المعسكر اهتماماً كبيراً بالمحتوى التوعوي، مؤكدين على دوره الأساسي في تأمين حياة أطفالهم وحمايتهم من مخاطر المخلفات الحربية.

Under the supervision of the National Mine Action Center NMAC, in cooperation with the Councils for Social Affairs and Child Welfare in Northern State, and supported by UNICEF; CDF implemented International Mine Awareness Day activities at
Northern State - Al-Affad Camp 📍

The event targeted displaced families from El Fasher at Al-Affad Camp, with broad participation from CDF volunteers and community leaders. The program included a specialized lecture on Mine Risk Education MRE and Unexploded Ordnance UXO to enhance child protection and public safety from war remnants.
The also featured creative performances and anthems by camp children, alongside educational competitions and incentive prizes. The community expressed high engagement, emphasizing the vital importance of these initiatives in safeguarding their children's lives from the risks of war remnants.

استهدفت هذه الجلسات 1200 مشارك ومشاركة من مختلف الفئات العمرية في أحياء (البانجديد، الصالحين، الإنقاذ، وود البشير). شملت الجلسات التوعية بالعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي وأشكاله وآثاره، مع التركيز على آليات الحماية والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي، والتوعية بمخاطر الاستغلال والانتهاكات التي قد تتعرض لها الأطفال والنساء.

كما تضمنت الحملة نشراً للمعارف حول مخاطر الألغام وطرق الوقاية منها والإجراءات الاحترازية لتجنبها، وتعزيز دور المجتمع في الإبلاغ والتعاون مع الجهات المختصة. وقد ساهمت هذه الجلسات في رفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي وبناء شبكة تواصل بين المجتمع المحلي والجهات المنفذة لدعم الاستجابة السريعة وتعزيز جهود الحماية والدعم المستدام.

Child Development Foundation (CDF), in partnership with UNICEF and in coordination with the Council for Child Welfare, conducts community awareness sessions on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), exploitation, and Mine Risk Education in four different neighborhoods
South Kordofan - Talodi 📍

The sessions reached 1,200 participants of various ages across (Al-Banjadid, Al-Salihin, Al-Inqaz, and Wad Al-Bashir) neighborhoods. The sessions covered awareness of Gender-Based Violence, its forms, and effects, focusing on protection mechanisms and psychosocial support, while addressing the risks of exploitation and violations faced by children and women.

The campaign also disseminated knowledge on landmine risks, preventive measures, and the community's role in reporting and cooperating with relevant authorities. These sessions contributed to raising community awareness and building a communication network between the local community and implementing agencies to support rapid response and sustainable protection efforts.

The intervention targeted vulnerable families, fire victims, and displaced persons in Habila locality under the Integrated Food Crisis Response Project. The mission focuses on improving shelter conditions and building resilience in communities at risk of famine.
Alongside the distribution, CDF activated Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) mechanisms and conducted community awareness sessions for leaders and volunteers, ensuring transparent and dignified humanitarian assistance.

منظمة تنمية الأطفال (CDF) تنهي عمليات تقييم وحصر الأسر المتضررة من الحرائق بقرية "أبو ضحية" في ولاية غرب دارفور ⛺🔥

في إطار استجابتها الإنسانية العاجلة، وبشراكة مع منظمة الإغاثة العالمية (World Relief) وبتمويل من الصندوق السوداني الإنساني (SHF)، باشرت منظمة تنمية الأطفال (CDF) عبر فريقها الميداني بولاية غرب دارفور، سلسلة من الإجراءات لدعم الأسر المتضررة جراء الحريق الذي اندلع في قرية "أبو ضحية" بمحلية هبيلا في السادس من أبريل الجاري، والذي أسفر عن خسائر كبيرة في الممتلكات والمساكن.

وقد نفذ فريق المنظمة في الثالث عشر من أبريل عملية تقييم ميداني شاملة وحصر دقيق للأسر المتأثرة، هدفت إلى تحديد الاحتياجات الضرورية ورصد حجم الأضرار التي لحقت بالمواطنين، لضمان وصول الدعم لمستحقيه من الأسر الأكثر هشاشة التي فقدت منازلها ومقتنياتها الأساسية. ويسعى هذا التدخل بشكل أساسي إلى تخفيف معاناة المتضررين والمساهمة في تحسين أوضاعهم الإنسانية في ظل هذه الظروف الصعبة.

واستناداً إلى نتائج هذا التقييم، تم التخطيط لتوزيع المواد غير الغذائية (NFIs) المنقذة للحياة على الأسر المتضررة في السادس عشر من أبريل، وذلك ضمن رؤية المنظمة لتوفير الاحتياجات الأساسية العاجلة وصون الكرامة الإنسانية للمجتمعات المحلية.
وتؤكد المنظمة التزامها بمواصلة الجهود الميدانية لتقديم الاستجابة السريعة للطوارئ في ولاية غرب دارفور لضمان تحسين الظروف المعيشية للأسر المتضررة.

Child Development Foundation (CDF) in West Darfur Completes Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment for Fire-Affected Households in Abu Dahiya Village ⛺🔥

As part of its emergency humanitarian response, in partnership with World Relief and funded by the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF), CDF’s West Darfur state team initiated field operations to support households affected by the fire in Abu Dahiya Village, Habila Locality, on April 6th, which caused devastating property and shelter losses.

On April 13th, the field team conducted a comprehensive Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment (MSNA) and beneficiary registration. This mission aimed to identify priority needs and assess the scale of impact, ensuring that life-saving assistance reaches the most vulnerable households who lost their homes and basic assets. This intervention primarily seeks to alleviate suffering and improve the humanitarian conditions of the affected population during these critical times.

Based on the assessment findings, the distribution of Life-Saving Non-Food Items (NFIs) to the affected households was scheduled for April 16th, aligned with the foundation’s mission to provide immediate relief and uphold human dignity for local communities.
CDF reaffirms its commitment to rapid emergency response and sustained field presence in West Darfur State to ensure the recovery and well-being of affected communities.

بالشراكة مع صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان (UNFPA)، نفذت المنظمة سلسلة من جلسات الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي استهدفت النساء والفتيات النازحات من محافظات (الكرمك، باو، قيسان، والتضامن)، والمتواجدات حالياً في معسكرات الكرامة (1، 3، 4، 5، 6، 10)، ومراكز الإيواء (علوية، عمر المختار، المك، وبنت الأزور)، بالإضافة إلى النازحين والمستضافين في أحياء الشهيد الملة، الصالحة، المربعات، أبورماد، قنيص شرق، وشانيشا.

الاستجابة والتدخل النفسي:
بمشاركة (20) باحثاً اجتماعياً متخصصاً، ركزت الجلسات على "التفريغ الانفعالي" وتشخيص الاحتياجات، مع التعريف بـ المساحات الآمنة وما تقدمه من خدمات الصحة الإنجابية والدعم النفسي والأنشطة المدرة للدخل. كما تم توضيح "خارطة الخدمات" لضمان وصول المستفيدات لمتطلباتهن بحماية وخصوصية تامة.

دعم الكرامة الإنسانية:
توج النشاط بتوزيع (4000) حقيبة كرامة (Dignity Kits) تحتوي على مستلزمات العناية الشخصية والنظافة، في استجابة شاملة تدمج بين الدعم المعنوي المباشر وتلبية الاحتياجات الضرورية لتعزيز صمود النساء والفتيات في ظل ظروف النزوح.

Promoting Protection and Dignity: CDF Conducts Psychosocial Support Sessions and Distributes Dignity Kits 🌸📦

In partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), CDF conducted a series of Psychosocial Support (PSS) sessions targeting displaced women and girls from (Al Kurmuk, Baw, Geissan, and Tadamon). The sessions reached beneficiaries in Al Karama camps (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10), shelter centers (Alawiya, Omar Al-Mukhtar, Al-Mak, and Bint Al-Azwar schools), as well as those in host communities including Al-Shaheed Al-Malla, Al-Salha, Al-Murabaat, Abu Ramad, Ganis East, and Shanisha.

Response and Psychosocial Intervention:
Facilitated by (20) specialized social workers, the sessions focused on "Emotional Venting" and needs assessment, while raising awareness about Safe Spaces and their services, including reproductive health, PSS, and income-generating activities. A "Service Mapping" was provided to ensure safe and private access to essential services.

Upholding Human Dignity:
The intervention concluded with the distribution of (4,000) Dignity Kits containing personal care and hygiene items. This comprehensive response integrates direct psychological support with the fulfillment of basic needs to strengthen the resilience of women and girls during displacement.

في خطوة استراتيجية لتعزيز الاعتماد على الذات، نجحت منظمة تنمية الأطفال (CDF)، وبتمويل من المفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR)، في تطوير نظام "صناديق الادخار والتسليف" وتحويلها من مبادرات محلية إلى (25) جمعية رسمية مسجلة لدى الدولة بولاية النيل الأبيض.

تعزيز رأس المال والتمكين:
قامت المنظمة بتسليم مبلغ (1,200,000) جنيه سوداني لكل صندوق من الـ (20) صندوقاً المستهدفة، بهدف زيادة حصص أسهم العضوية وتمكين الأعضاء من التوسع في مشاريعهم الإنتاجية. يستهدف هذا التدخل (500) فرد من الجنسين (لاجئين، نازحين، ومجتمع مستضيف) في معسكرات وقرى محليتي السلام والجبلين (أمصنقور، خور الورل، دبة بوسن، العلقايا، الدبيبة، والرديس).

رؤية مستقبلية:
بعد نجاح عملية التسجيل الرسمي، تعمل (CDF) الآن على ربط هذه الجمعيات بمؤسسات التمويل والبنوك والهيئات المالية لضمان استدامة التمويل وتطوير هذه الكيانات لتصبح ركيزة اقتصادية قوية لمجتمعاتها.

Towards Sustainability and Financial Inclusion: CDF Transitions Savings & Credit Groups into Official Associations and Provides Capital Support in White Nile State 💰📈

In a strategic move to foster self-reliance, the Child Development Foundation (CDF), with funding from UNHCR, has successfully institutionalized "Savings and Credit Groups" by transitioning them into (25) formally registered associations in White Nile State.

Capital Enhancement and Empowerment:
CDF delivered (1,200,000) SDG to each of the (20) targeted groups to increase membership shares and enable members to expand their productive enterprises. This intervention targets (500) male and female beneficiaries (Refugees, IDPs, and Host Communities) across Al Salam and Al Jabalain localities, specifically in (Um Sangour, Khor Al-Waral, Dabat Bosin, Al Alagaya, Al-Dubaiba, and Al-Redais).

A Vision for the Future:
Following the official registration, CDF is now working on linking these associations with financial institutions, banks, and funding bodies to ensure sustainable financing and evolve these entities into strong economic pillars for their communities.

With funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Child Development Foundation (CDF) continues its livelihood support in White Nile State by empowering the fisheries sector in Al Salam Locality. This includes distributing production inputs such as fishing nets and integrated fish trade units (coolers, display tables, and processing tools).

Training and Capacity Building:
The intervention included specialized training sessions for (400) male and female beneficiaries, focusing on fish trade and industrial processing. The project covered (Um Sangour and Khor Al-Waral) camps, as well as host villages, targeting Refugees, Host Communities, and IDPs.

This initiative aims to equip beneficiaries with the necessary tools and technical knowledge to achieve self-reliance, transforming local resources into sustainable economic opportunities that support social stability.

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, the Community Service Center in Gedaref hosted a high-level delegation from Save the Children International (SCI). This visit, conducted under the strategic partnership with the Child Development Foundation (CDF), aimed to monitor the implementation of integrated activities and services.

The delegation included the Executive Director, the Country Director, the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer, and the Protection Officer. The team highly commended the center’s exceptional organization and operational efficiency.

The visit concluded with a significant achievement: the Al-Nasr Center was ranked as the Best Center among six international sites globally. This recognition solidifies CDF’s position as a leading national partner operating under global humanitarian standards.

التعليم حق والحماية التزام: (CDF) مكتب كسلا تذلل العقبات أمام طلاب معسكر الشجراب اللاجئين لامتحانات الشهادة السودانية 🎓🚌

في إطار التزامنا الصارم بحماية حقوق الطفل وتأمين مستقبل الأجيال في أصعب الظروف، تُعلن منظمة تنمية الأطفال (CDF) عن تنفيذ عملية تفويج كبرى لطلاب الشهادة السودانية من معسكر الشجراب اللاجئين إلى مراكز الامتحانات بمحلية "خشم القربة".
انطلقت اليوم (8) حافلات مجهزة لتأمين وصول (193) طالباً وطالبة من اللاجئين، بواقع (117) طالبة و(76) طالباً، في خطوة تهدف لكسر حاجز العزلة وتوفير فرص متكافئة للطلاب لمواصلة مسيرتهم الأكاديمية رغم تحديات الهجرة واللجوء.
يأتي هذا العمل الاستراتيجي بتنسيق مع وزارة التربية والتعليم وبإشراف معتمدية اللاجئين (COR)، استجابةً لاحتياجات الأسر الضعيفة. إن توفير وسائل النقل الآمنة ليس مجرد خدمة لوجستية، بل هو صمام أمان يحمي هؤلاء الأطفال من مخاطر التسرب التعليمي، ويخفف الضغط الاقتصادي والنفسي عن كاهل أسرهم.
نحن في (CDF) نؤمن أن حماية الأطفال تبدأ من تمكينهم من حقوقهم الأساسية، وعلى رأسها التعليم. إن تيسير وصول هؤلاء الطلاب إلى قاعات الامتحان هو رسالة فخر واعتزاز بصمودهم، وتأكيد على أن حق التعليم يتجاوز كافة الحدود والعقبات.

In line with our steadfast commitment to child protection and upholding the fundamental rights of children under challenging circumstances, the Child Development Foundation (CDF) has successfully launched a vital transportation initiative for students from Shagarab Refugee Camp sitting for the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate.
A fleet of (8) buses has been deployed to ensure the safe and timely transit of (193) refugee students (117 females and 76 males). This initiative is designed to provide equal educational opportunities and bridge the gap for students striving to complete their academic journey despite the hardships of migration and asylum.
This strategic operation is conducted in close coordination with the Ministry of Education and under the specialized supervision of the Commission for Refugees (COR). It serves as a direct response to the critical needs of vulnerable refugee households.
At CDF, we believe that providing safe transportation is a key protection mechanism that shields students from the risk of school dropout and alleviates the socio-economic and psychological burdens on their families. Facilitating access to these examinations is a testament to the resilience of these students and a reaffirmation that the Right to Education transcends all borders.

في نموذج فريد للتعايش، تستمر أنشطة زراعة القمح والخضروات في "حقول مشتركة" تجمع بين اللاجئين، النازحين، والمجتمع المستضيف، نحن لا نزرع الأرض فحسب، بل نبني جسوراً للدمج الاجتماعي والاستقرار عبر العمل المشترك لضمان الأمن الغذائي للجميع.
🌱 محلية السلام | منطقة الرديس 1:
وعلى ذات الخطى، تتواصل عجلة العطاء في منطقة الرديس 1 عبر برنامج الزراعة الشتوية المتكامل. يهدف هذا النشاط إلى خلق فرص عمل مستدامة للمستفيدين وتأمين تدفق المحاصيل الأساسية طوال العام، مما يساهم بشكل ملموس في تحسين الوضع الاقتصادي وتطوير سبل كسب العيش.
نحن في (CDF) نؤمن أن الأرض هي المساحة الأرحب للتعايش، وأن الإنتاج هو الضمان الحقيقي لمستقبل أكثر استقراراً.

🛡️ Al Jabalain Locality | Dabba Bosan & Al Alagaya:
In a unique model of coexistence, wheat and vegetable cultivation continues in "Shared Fields," bringing together refugees, IDPs, and host communities، We are not just farming the land; we are building bridges for social integration and stability through collective action to ensure food security for all.
🌱 Al Salam Locality | Al Redais 1:
Similarly, the cycle of giving continues in Al Redais 1 through the integrated winter agriculture program. This initiative aims to create sustainable employment opportunities for beneficiaries and ensure a year-round supply of essential crops, significantly improving economic conditions and enhancing livelihoods.
At CDF, we believe that the land is the widest space for coexistence, and production is the true guarantee for a more stable future.
