At a high-level ceremony in Port Sudan on April 4, attended by the Deputy Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, Mr. Malik Agar, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, we were honored under the "Thank You, Messengers of Humanity" initiative.

Speaking on behalf of the recognized organizations, our Country Director, Mr. Elsadig Elnour, shared a powerful sentiment: This honor truly reflects the gratitude and loyalty of the Sudanese people, who continue to show strength even in the face of immense hardship.

خلال حفل رسمي رفيع المستوى ببورتسودان في 4 أبريل، وبحضور نائب رئيس مجلس السيادة الفريق مالك عقار، ووزير الخارجية سعادة السفير محي الدين سالم، تم تكريمنا ضمن مبادرة "شكراً رسل الإنسانية".

✨ Even in the midst of conflict and hardship, hope continues to shine. 🌿

In eastern Sudan’s Kassala State, thousands of Refugees and host community families are struggling to meet their daily needs but compassion is making a difference.

With the generous support of ETHAR RELIEF, and in collaboration with the Commission for Refugees, Islamic Relief Sudan has delivered 2,857 food baskets to families in Khashm El Girba and Wad El Hilew, reaching over 14,000 people in need.

Each food basket represents more than just a meal — it is a symbol of solidarity, dignity, and shared humanity. ❤️

💚 In Sudan, Islamic Relief Sudan ( ) is supporting vulnerable men, women, and children affected by the conflict through Psychosocial Support Sessions — helping them cope with painful memories and the difficult living conditions they face.

✨ This week, Islamic Relief Sudan organized Mental Health & Psychosocial Support sessions for IDPs in Port Sudan.

👩‍👧 More than 300 women, girls, and children joined from two gathering sites.

After facing loss, displacement, and the challenges of life in overcrowded camps, these families are under immense psychological pressure. 💔

With the support of professional psychologists, we are helping vulnerable communities find hope, healing, and strength to overcome their difficulties. 💙

Islamic Relief Sudan has installed a water desalination unit at Al-Salam Hospital in Gadaref, producing 50 barrels of clean water daily for 300 people. This life-saving project is helping protect families from cholera and other waterborne diseases.
