SUVO, in collaboration with the RH Department of the Ministry of Health and funded by AISPO, conducted women’s health campaigns in Algirba and Kassala through Community Health Days and Mobile Outreach.
The activities included free screening for blood pressure, anemia, MUAC, and breast examination, along with counseling and referrals.
The campaigns featured public awareness sessions, drama, songs, and IEC materials promoting safe motherhood, nutrition, and cancer prevention, with strong participation from local leaders, midwives, and youth groups.

Our field team today successfully delivered Ready-to-Use Supplementary Food for children at the Nutrition Center in Tandlay, which had been cut off from services for several days due to floods from the Gash River blocking the main road.

This urgent intervention addressed the immediate nutritional needs of children and families affected by the isolation, and demonstrates our commitment to reaching vulnerable communities with essential services despite the challenges posed by natural disasters.

We sincerely thank everyone who supported and contributed to this humanitarian effort.

In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and in collaboration with the Nutrition Department, Sudan Vision Organization (SUVO) is implementing life-saving nutrition interventions across Aroma, Elgirba, and North Delta localities.

This vital project focuses on the treatment of children and PLW around 45, 000 beneficiaries with Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), capacity-building through training for nutrition and community workers, and the distribution of specialized nutritious food to those most in need.
