رغم صعوبة الأوضاع والتحديات المستمرة في ولاية شمال كردفان، نجحت فرق منظمة يوث إن أكشن (YAO) في الوصول وإتمام نشاط توزيع معدات وأدوات الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للأطفال بمدينة الأبيض.

Organizational Background
Youth in Action Organization (YAO) is a national humanitarian and development organization working across Sudan in the sectors of Protection, Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Education, Mine Action, WASH, Health, Livelihoods, Peacebuilding, Site Management, and Emergency Response.
YAO is seeking a qualified and motivated MEAL Officer to support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems across its projects and programs in North Kordofan and other operational areas.

Purpose of the Position
The MEAL Officer is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems to ensure quality programming, evidence-based decision-making, donor compliance, and accountability to affected populations.
The position will work closely with project teams to strengthen data collection, analysis, reporting, beneficiary feedback mechanisms, and organizational learning processes.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Data Collection
• Develop and maintain project monitoring tools, databases, and tracking systems.
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits to project locations.
• Support baseline, endline, post-distribution monitoring (PDM), and needs assessments.
• Ensure timely collection, verification, and submission of project data.
• Monitor project indicators and progress against targets.
• Support field teams in data collection and quality assurance processes.
Evaluation and Learning
• Support project evaluations, reviews, and lessons-learned exercises.
• Analyze project data and generate findings to inform program improvements.
• Document best practices, success stories, case studies, and lessons learned.
• Support knowledge management and organizational learning initiatives.
• Contribute to project design through evidence and data analysis.
Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP)
• Support establishment and management of Complaints and Feedback Mechanisms (CFM).
• Ensure beneficiary feedback is collected, documented, analyzed, and addressed appropriately.
• Promote accountability and community participation throughout project implementation.
• Monitor the effectiveness of accountability mechanisms and recommend improvements.
Data Management and Reporting
• Maintain project databases and information management systems.
• Conduct data cleaning, validation, and analysis.
• Produce regular monitoring reports, dashboards, and indicator tracking tables.
• Support preparation of donor reports and internal program reports.
• Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
Capacity Building
• Train project staff, volunteers, and community workers on MEAL tools and methodologies.
• Provide technical support to field teams on data collection and reporting.
• Promote a culture of evidence-based programming within the organization.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with donor MEAL requirements and organizational standards.
• Conduct data quality assessments and verification exercises.
• Monitor adherence to project workplans and indicator frameworks.
• Support implementation of organizational MEAL policies and procedures.
Coordination
• Coordinate with project teams, area offices, and technical departments.
• Participate in relevant MEAL working groups, coordination meetings, and technical forums when required.
• Support donor monitoring visits and external evaluations.

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Information Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications in MEAL or Project Management are an added advantage.
Experience
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning.
• Experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or humanitarian organizations is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting donor-funded projects.
• Experience in humanitarian and emergency response settings is an advantage.
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of MEAL concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with data collection tools such as Kobo Toolbox, ODK, CommCare, Survey CTO, or similar platforms.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience developing indicators, logical frameworks, and monitoring plans.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong report-writing and presentation skills.
Languages

Purpose of the Position
The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting financial management, accounting, budgeting, compliance, cash management, financial reporting, and grant administration for YAO operations in North Kordofan. The position ensures that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, documented, and reported in compliance with YAO policies and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
• Process payments, advances, reimbursements, and settlements in accordance with YAO financial procedures.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and approved.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Verify supporting documents before processing payments.
• Ensure timely clearance of staff and activity advances.
• Assist in maintaining financial records for all projects implemented in North Kordofan.
Budget Management and Monitoring
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
• Support budget tracking and expenditure forecasting.
• Assist project managers and coordinators in budget planning and monitoring.
• Ensure expenditures are charged to the correct project and budget line.
• Flag any budget variances or compliance concerns to management.
Financial Reporting

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
Experience
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Previous experience with NGOs, UN agencies, or humanitarian organizations is highly desirable.
• Experience managing donor-funded projects.

The Site Manager will lead the implementation of site management activities in displacement sites and ensure effective coordination among communities, authorities, humanitarian actors, and service providers.

* Lead and oversee daily site management activities in assigned displacement sites.

بالجهود المخلصة والإصرار الكبير من تيم الحماية بمنظمة "يوث إن أكشن" (YAO) بمحافظة أبو جبيّهة، تم بحمد الله تنفيذ نشاط مخصص لدعم الأطفال المنفصلين وغير المصحوبين.

بكل فخر، اختتمت منظمة يوث إن أكشن (YAO) الدورة التدريبية المتخصصة في مناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي (GBV) ومنع الاستغلال والانتهاك الجنسي (PSEA) بمدينة الفولة.

اليوم، ينطلق 30 كادراً مؤهلاً ومدرباً إلى الميدان، يحملون لواء الوعي والحماية بالتساوي عبر ثلاث محليات:

انطلاقة التدريب المتخصص في مناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي ومنع الاستغلال والانتهاك الجنسي بغرب كردفان

خطوة جديدة نحو تعزيز الوعي وبناء قدرات مجتمعاتنا؛ بإنطلاق الدورة التدريبية المتخصصة حول "مناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي (GBV) ومنع الاستغلال والانتهاك الجنسي (PSEA)" في الفولة بولاية غرب كردفان.
يستهدف هذا التدريب المكثف 30 مشاركاً ومشاركة تم اختيارهم لبناء شبكة حماية قوية ومترابطة، موزعين بالتساوي على ثلاث محليات حيوية لضمان أوسع نطاق من التأثير:
• 10 مشاركين من محلية الفولة.
• 10 مشاركين من محلية الأضية.
• 10 مشاركين من محلية أبو زبد.

يهدف البرنامج التدريبي إلى تزويد المشاركين بالمعارف والمهارات الأساسية لرصد الانتهاكات، ورفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي، وتفعيل آليات الحماية والمساءلة لضمان تقديم الخدمات الإنسانية في بيئة آمنة تماماً وتحترم كرامة الجميع.
