We are grateful to have successfully carried out a donation drive in support of families affected by the recent Cyclone Maila.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the South Choiseul Development Office for attending and accepting our contribution on behalf of the affected communities. Present at the handover was their Constituency Development Committee Secretary, Jefferson Sumakana and Project Officer Isireli Nuku Pazabeto.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our alumni members who contributed, supported and led this initiative. Your generosity and willingness to help reflect the strong spirit of our network.

Finally we acknowledge and thank Elsie Polosovai for connecting us with the South Choiseul community and helping make this support possible.

Our thoughts remain with the families impacted by the devastating Cyclone Maila. We hope that this small gesture of support will go a long way in assisting as they recover and rebuild.

This handover took place at the HCC Youth Hub. Tagio tumas for allowing us the space.

Blessed weekend.

Greetings to all SIAAA alumni and your families.

You would have seen circulating via email, that we are excited to be hosting a Family Fun Day, this coming Sunday 26th of April from 9am to 3pm at the National Aquatic Centre!

There will be a range of family friendly activities for everyone, including water games in the pool, tennis for those who prefer not to have a swim, a sausage sizzle, and space to simply unwind and enjoy each other’s company. We are also hoping that interested alumni can bring some home baked treats to sell on the day, as a way of contributing to our association by helping us raise funds for future initiatives.

To help us with preparations, we are kindly asking all SIAAA members who are planning to join, to fill out this online RSVP form: https://forms.gle/Ta9bAUWADtA5mG7p9

Separately, if you are a SIAAA member who has not been receiving our emails, please provide your updated information here so we can add you to the database for future correspondence : https://forms.gle/4xHyxKaLJiADcHpm6

Thank you tumas and lukim u soon.

Easter is a time for reflection - be it on our individual journeys, our families, or our shared path as members of an association committed to service, community, and nation-building. We are incredibly proud of how far each of you has come, and how your contributions continue to shape our association.

This first quarter has been a time of strengthening the foundations of our new executive. We look forward to a good number of initiatives we have in plan for you all this year.

To start off, we are currently planning a family-friendly event towards the end of this month. Our team is finalising the details, and we’ll be sharing more information in due course. We can’t wait to bring everyone together!

On behalf of the executive, we wish you and your loved ones a wonderful and restful long weekend. Happy Easter everyone.
