BIBLE MONTH: 23 July 2026Children Educators Training – Namoraoni Community, Malango Ward, Central Guadalcanal

As part of the Bible Month 2026 activities, the Bible Society of the South Pacific (BSSP) conducted a one-day Children Educators Training at Namoraoni Community in Malango Ward, Central Guadalcanal, on 23 July 2026.

More than 40 Sunday School teachers representing six South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) local churches participated in the training. The workshop focused on the effective use of the 100 Steps Family Bible as a practical resource for children's discipleship, family Bible engagement, and Sunday School ministry.

The training equipped participants with knowledge and practical skills to use the resource in teaching children and encouraging families to engage regularly with Scripture. It also reinforced the importance of nurturing biblical foundations in the lives of children through consistent and age-appropriate Bible instruction.

The SSEC Regional Sunday School Superintendent expressed appreciation to BSSP for reaching out to the churches in the community and for investing in the training of Sunday School teachers. She acknowledged that the initiative would strengthen children's ministry by equipping teachers, parents, and children with valuable Bible resources to support spiritual growth and lifelong engagement with God's Word.

Thanks to the partnership work with Namoraoni SSEC Church Pastor Boaz Sibia for hosting the training and the SSEC Sunday Regional Coordinator for gathering the Sunday school teachers together for this training.
