📢 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST | AUDITOR SERVICE

The Solomon Islands Red Cross Society (SIRCS) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced auditing firms to undertake an External Audit of SIRCS 2025 Operations.

📅 Audit Commencement: 21 September 2026
⏳ Duration: 15 working days
📌 Final Reports Due: 9 October 2026

The selected auditor will be responsible for reviewing SIRCS financial records, assessing compliance with applicable accounting and funding requirements, examining internal controls and producing:

📄 Management Letter

The audit will assess areas including financial management, budgetary controls, procurement, asset and inventory records, supporting documentation, donor funding compliance and expenditure approvals.

📅 EOI SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 18 SEPTEMBER 2026

WE LISTEN, LEARN, AND IMPROVE HOW WE WORK TO SERVE VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES!
That was the core focus of the recent Lessons Learnt Workshop hosted by the Solomon Islands Red Cross Society
As the TC Maila Operation is nearing its end for the Solomon Islands Red Cross Society, volunteers, members and staff from the Honiara, Munda and Gizo Island came together to share their experiences, operational challenges, successes and develop a realistic plan of action as key priorities to set in place before the next disaster strikes.
This operation just amplifies the strength of Red Cross Volunteers and the work they do during disaster. Whether they were hoisting NFIs and food ration on and off planes, vessels and boats, securing the warehouses, sitting at EOCs, doing assessments and distributing NFIs, doing data entry, providing psychosocial support, relief shelter and in ensuring dignity was preserved for the affected families, these were the ways the volunteers made a difference, showing up when it mattered most.
