RUKIEZ CONDOLENCES:
On behalf of the manager, coaching team, volunteers and players of the whiteriver rukiez basketball program we would like share our deepest condolences of the passing on of Mr Thompson Turueke.
Mr Turueke, has been a very supportive person to the growth of the game of basketball in the country.
His company 'Transworld company' was the major sponser for basketball league back in 2007,2008 and 2009.
He is the father of Waige Turueke our National team 3pointer, Waige has spent sometime in the states and his father was very supportive to see his son making his mark in the land of basketball in the USA.
We share our sympathy with the Turueke family in this sad time and pray that they will be comforted in such times.
As part of our RUKIEZ tradition we do a basket clap 👏👏 send off for our late senior 🙏.

On the usual when you does the opening for a tournament sponsered by your company you do 2 free throws, today indeed you put your shoes 👟👟 on the court and walk off as a sign of retirement.
