Words of acknowledgement to WWF CAPSI project for the invitation and participation at the transformation pathway for Pacific Coastal food system national stakeholders workshop at honiara hotel. TTLCA was invited as a community based organisation to learn from Sairagi food security project based on sea w**d farming in the western province. On behalf of Tookina Tribal Land Conservation Association we convey our sincere condolence to late Shabella and her family for her untimely passing on this morning. Shabella has contributed massively to the Solomon Islands Climate action network under which we are part of as a member. She has been instrumental in supporting us in few milestone projects ,one of which was the "climate change documentary video taken at Tookina and Ahetaha depicting the impacts of climate change in our rural communities". Therefore, her loss is felt by us, as she is one of pioneers of Tookina conservation association. We will miss her passion for climate activism, networking and most of all as a true friend indeed. Rest in peace till the glorious morning Shabs.
