Riwayat hai ke ye masjid us jagah par bani hai jahan Hazrat Bilal (R.A.) ka ghar tha ya jahan unhon ne Azan di thi. Hazrat Bilal (R.A.) Islam ke pehle Moazzin (Azan dene wale) thay, isliye ye masjid un ki azmat aur yaad ko taza karti hai.
