If you're a videographer/photographer and you're in a relationship, there are many things you'll do innocently but your partner won't understand.
Most of the time you won't even have an explanation the more you will try to explain yourself, the worse it becomes.
Here are 3 things I was caught doing which where hard to explain to my ex-girlfriend:
1. Models forgetting their items in your car. One time I was filming a music video, after Models changed in their outfits I noticed the main model panty lines were destructively visible
I asked her to either remove the underwear or change it, since it was a very shot dress she couldn't remove it and luckily there was a mall nearby, so my assistant quickly went to buy seamless panty for her
The panties were bought as a set of 3, she went in the car to change and left the extra panties in the car she only took her own old underwear.
After the shoot I just parked equipment and drove home.
When I reached home I was too tired to offload, my girlfriend wanted to use the car so she offloaded everything and found those panties 🤣🤣🤣
Whatever I tried to explain just looked like lies.
And this wasn't the only incidence, at one point another forgot her wig, another time the other forgot her shoe and a comb etc
2. Models posting you on their social media. One time i was directing a romantic video, I was demonstrating how the guy should go down on his knees while proposing, as you know there's always BTS cameras around me
A day later after the shoot the model posted a picture of me on my knees and captioned it "I said yes" and it looked very real
My girlfriend saw it and asked me to explain why that girl was comfortable to post a guy who's engaged 💍 to her
I had no explanation 🤣🤣🤣 and this continued on several instances another time a girl will randomly post a picture of me and her while working and caption it "my guy" another will say "my favorite" and more guys 🤣🤣🤣and I have to explain why
3. Models texting you directly. When models realize you're a big videographer with potentially lots of projects, they try to network and ask you to consider them again on your next project.
One time after the shoot one model gives me her number to contact her if I ever need her on my next project, I promised I will call but I never did, she saw i was working with different people then she texted me "you left me is it because am not beautiful enough" then I replied to her "it has nothing to do with your beauty, you're beautiful i wasn't just the one organizing models"
My girlfriend saw the chat and she was like why are you calling another lady beautiful I tried to explain that I was just being nice.....etc
She continued why are they asking you to hook them up with gigs are you a modeling agent 🤣🤣🤣
I didn't have any explanation.
Worst part is am not a phone person or a type of a guy who hides his phone and password, she had access to my phone 24/7, when am home she was actually using my phone more, helping me to reply to clients etc but while she is holding it, another random girl will just text something nasty
Sometimes she won't ask me, I will just know something is up when she's sleeping with a tracksuit, just letting me the kitchen is closed today, you're not eating 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We try to be nice and a pleasure to work with to our clients but other clients take it too far
