Umurunga Family 23 may we came together for a deeply meaningful gathering to celebrate an incredible milestone our 2nd Anniversary! Over the past two years, our journey has been defined by growth, resilience, and community impact. This gathering was a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect on our shared milestones, and celebrate how far we have come together.
​But it wasn't just about looking back. It was also a powerful moment to look forward. We used this time to realign with our core values, renew our commitments, and reinforce our vision for the future.
​As we step into our third year, we are more energized than ever to empower our youth, foster impactful programs and drive positive change in our community.

​Thank you to every member, partner, and supporter who has been a part of the Umurunga Family story over the last two years. The future is bright, and we are just getting started!

Umurunga Family youth had the privilege of being hosted by Never Again Rwanda in a meaningful and inspiring dialogue on Positive Masculinity. The session provided valuable lessons on the importance of respect, equality, accountability, emotional expression, and shared responsibility in building stronger communities and healthier relationships.

We are grateful for this enriching opportunity that continues to empower our youth with values that promote peace, understanding, and responsible leadership. Together, we grow and shape a better future.

Last Thursday, Umurunga Family successfully hosted another impactful edition of our Weekly Discussion Program, bringing young people together for an engaging online conversation centered on Mental Health & Resilience.
The session created a safe and interactive space where participants openly shared thoughts, experiences, and perspectives on the realities of mental health among youth today. Through meaningful discussions and mutual encouragement, we explored the importance of emotional well-being, resilience, and supporting one another in difficult moments.
Our speaker particularly emphasized the growing importance of mental health awareness in youth, reminding us that healing begins when conversations are no longer kept silent. As young people continue to face academic, social, and personal pressures, creating supportive communities and encouraging open dialogue remains essential.
At Umurunga Family, we believe that conversations can heal, empower, and transform lives. We remain committed to building a generation that values peace, resilience, empathy, and mental wellness.

Umurunga family, 13 December 2025, our team carried out a heartfelt visit to patients at CHUK with the purpose of offering support, comfort, and encouragement.
It was a meaningful moment that reminded us how powerful compassion and human connection can be especially for those going , through a healing journey.

During the visit, we spent time listening, sharing hope, and standing alongside the patients to let them know they are not alone.
We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, presence, and energy to make this outreach impactful.

As a community, we remain committed to promoting care, dignity, and humanity in everything we do.
Together, we continue to heal, transform, and build.
