⚽️πŸ”₯ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY IN KABUGA! πŸ”₯⚽️

Today, Kabuga Peace Club successfully brought our community together for an unforgettable Youth Peacebuilding & Advocacy Campaign!

Through a powerful, raw Forum Theatre performance on preventing border crime and domestic violence, our local youth sparked vital dialogues right on the field. We backed it up with energetic peace dances from our children's team and crowned the day with a thrilling Peace Soccer Final match! πŸ‡·πŸ‡Όβœ¨

A massive thank you to Anitha (Kabuga Cell Executive Secretary), Daniel (Sector Youth Coordinator), our influential community elders, local leaders, and our international partner Yuki for standing with us and guiding our youth.

Together, we are planting peace and growing a stronger community! 🌲⚽️❀️

🀝 New Partnership for Peace! βš½πŸ•ŠοΈ

We are excited to announce a new partnership between Kabuga Peace Club and the City Boys Community Soccer Team.

Through this partnership, we have agreed to use the power of soccer to spread messages of peace throughout our community. We believe that sports can bring people together, break down barriers, and inspire positive change.

Our vision is to combine soccer, forum theatre, and modern dance as a powerful strategy for community engagement. Together, these activities will help us mobilize people to promote peaceful coexistence, strengthen conflict management skills, and build unity within our communities.

Soccer attracts people of all ages and backgrounds, making it an excellent platform for sharing messages of peace, reconciliation, and social cohesion. We are confident that this partnership will enable us to reach many more people and create a lasting impact.

Together, we play for peace. Together, we build unity. βš½β€οΈπŸ•ŠοΈ

πŸ•ŠοΈπŸŒ± THANK YOU, MR. YUKI TABATA! πŸŒ±πŸ•ŠοΈ

What an unforgettable Saturday at the Kabuga Peace Club! We were deeply honored to host Mr. Yuki Tabata from CRASPD and the YENA Program.

In front of an overflowing crowd of local elders, authorities, and community members, our youth and children showed exactly what grassroots resilience looks like in Karama Sector! Living in a border region comes with unique challenges like substance abuse, school dropouts, domestic conflict, and teenage pregnancies. But at KPC, we are rewriting that narrative through the power of creative arts.

Our youth troupe delivered a powerful Forum Theatre performance accompanied by the traditional iningiri violin to show how we resolve border-region conflicts through active dialogue, while our youngest children filled the hall with joy, using modern dance to spread early messages of peace and family harmony.

Yuki, thank you for your deep listening, your encouragement, and your commitment to empowering grassroots peacebuilders. We are excited to continue planting peace and growing together! πŸ‡·πŸ‡Όβœ¨
