💚 Seeing our young people grow, express themselves, and bring their community together reminds me why we started Kabuga Peace Club.

What began with a vision of building peace at the grassroots is gradually becoming a reality. Through the **TURIKUMWE Project**, in partnership with Japanese supporters through the YENA programme at the Protestant University of Rwanda (PUR), we have acquired important equipment to strengthen our work.

🎭 Forum Theatre costumes to bring peace messages to life.

💃 Modern dance uniforms to build children's confidence and teamwork.

🥁 Traditional dance drums to celebrate culture and promote unity.

🔊 A speaker and microphones to amplify our voices and encourage community dialogue.

🌱 Agricultural tools to support youth livelihoods and connect peacebuilding with economic opportunities.

Yesterday in Bushara, seeing our children perform in their new uniforms and our theatre group in their new costumes was a proud moment. These are not just materials; they are tools helping young people discover their talents, build confidence, and contribute to a more peaceful community.

Our heartfelt thanks to TURIKUMWE, YENA, CRASPD, PUR, and our Japanese partners for believing in this work and helping us move forward. 🙏

Our Kabuga Peace Club Modern Dance Kids are ready to shine! Tomorrow, they will perform in their new uniforms, bringing their energy, talent, and message of peace to the community.

Through dance, we are building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and giving children a positive space to grow and express themselves.

Every step tells a story. Every performance brings us closer to a more peaceful community. 🌱🤝

⚽🕊️ Football for Peace!

Today, 21 September, Kabuga Peace Club concluded its Football for Peace tournament, bringing together youth from all nine villages of Kabuga Cell. The final ended in a draw, with Kabeza FC winning on penalties.

Through football, Forum Theatre, and dialogue, we promoted peace, unity, and nonviolence.

🌱 **Our Journey Toward Self-Reliance Continues**

At **Kabuga Peace Club**, we believe that peace is not only about dialogue—it is also about creating opportunities for young people to build secure and independent lives.

Our agriculture project is one step toward **self-reliance and sustainability**. Through farming, we are working to create income-generating opportunities for our members while strengthening our ability to sustain our peacebuilding activities.

Today, we are taking another step forward by investing in agricultural tools and production. 🌾

We believe that when young people have opportunities, they gain hope; when they have hope, they can become agents of peace in their families and communities.

📚 Investing in Education, Investing in Peace 🕊️

As part of our commitment to encouraging children to value education and remain focused on their studies, Kabuga Peace Club (KPC) supported 13 children with essential school materials during the opening of the new school year.

We believe that supporting children today is an investment in a more educated, empowered, and peaceful generation tomorrow. When children have the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream, we are also laying the foundation for a more peaceful future.
