Equipping girls with life skills for a brighter future.

Today, during Day 2 of our School Dropout Prevention Boot Camp 2026, Life Changing Endeavor Organization (LCEO) provided life skills books to empower children with knowledge, confidence, and values that will guide them both in school and in everyday life.

As we celebrate the Day of the African Child, we remain committed to nurturing resilient, informed, and empowered young people.

Turning research into action.

Yesterday, Life Changing Endeavor Organization (LCEO), through the Justice Without Barriers (JWB) Project, convened a Dissemination and Validation Meeting at Bugesera District, bringing together key stakeholders to review research findings, validate evidence, and strengthen collective commitments toward improving access to justice.

Meaningful change begins when communities, institutions, and partners come together to listen, validate, and act. We are grateful to Bugesera District leadership and all participants whose insights will shape stronger, more inclusive interventions.

Together, we are building justice that leaves no one behind.

A world where girls and women are mentally strong, educated, and economically empowered โ€” free to thrive and lead.

This is why LCEO exists. Girls staying in school instead of dropping out. Survivors finding justice and support instead of silence. Women earning an income instead of depending on others. Mindsets shifting, one girl and one family at a time.

We're not just imagining this world. We're building it, right here in Rwanda . ๐Ÿ’š

Join us. Follow along. Partner with us. Share this if you believe girls deserve to thrive, not just survive.

๐ŸŒ A Historic Step Toward Justice for GBV Survivors in Bugesera District, Rwanda.

Yesterday, Life Changing Endeavor Organization (LCEO) convened the Justice Without Barriers Stakeholder Consultative Meeting at the Bugesera District Hall โ€” a foundational milestone in our evidence-based advocacy journey to remove the systemic barriers that GBV survivors face while navigating the justice system and accessing psychosocial support.

The meeting was chaired by the Vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs, a powerful statement of district-level commitment to this cause. The room brought together an extraordinary coalition:

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Bugesera District leadership โ€” Vice Mayor, Director of Good Governance, Gender & Family Promotion, Child Protection Officer
โš–๏ธ Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB)
๐Ÿ‘ฎ Rwanda National Police
๐Ÿฅ Isange One Stop Center / MAJ Unit
๐Ÿค Women led organizations
๐Ÿ“ Sector & Cell leaders from Nyamata and Gashora
๐Ÿซ School representatives and Centre de Santรฉ teams
๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง Inshuti z'Umuryango and community health workers

This meeting was not a formality. It was a research dialogue โ€” structured, facilitated, and grounded in the lived realities of survivors and the frontline professionals who serve them every day.

Participants engaged with remarkable depth and honesty, collectively identifying the most critical barriers preventing GBV survivors from accessing justice and support โ€” barriers rooted in lack of information, transport challenges, cultural stigma, legal complexity, and gaps in community protection.

The recommendations made in that room will directly inform LCEO's advocacy report โ€” and that report will shape the policy, institutional, and community-level changes we advocate for at district and national level.

๐Ÿ“Œ Justice Without Barriers is implemented by LCEO in partnership with FAWE Rwanda, supported by the Women & Girls Fund โ€” an initiative funded by the The Scottish Government and delivered through Ecorys Uk.

To every participant who showed up, spoke honestly, and committed to action โ€” thank you. Your voice is the evidence. And the evidence will drive the change.
The advocacy starts now. ๐Ÿ’ช
