Acum 2 ani , Woody trăia împreună cu cele două fetițe ale ei, în apropierea adăpostului nostru, lângă depozitul de lemne. Toate persoanele din zona respectivă le iubeau pentru că erau blânde și foarte sociabile. Dar...într-o zi hingherii de la Hunedoara, le- au capturat și au motivat că le vor duce la adăpostul public din Tg- Jiu. Ziua următoare le-am căutat în adăpost dar, surpriză, nu era decàt mama( Woody). Cățelușele dispărusera și... nu le-am mai găsit niciodată. Woody a suferit foarte mult și a refuzat să mănânce ceva, o săptămână 🥲
După ce am adoptat-o, a încercat de câteva ori să evadeze, probabil pentru a-și căuta "fetițele".Dar... timpul a trecut și încet, încet și-a recăpătat dorinta de a trăi. Am interacționat cu ea permanent, am mângâiat-o, i-am vorbit, am plimbat-o... Din păcate ,la membrul posterior stâng i-a apărut o tumoră, care a avut o evoluție rapidă. Am operat-o și s-a constatat( în urma analizelor) ,că tumora era benignă. Se recuperează bine și este foarte receptivă și prietenoasă. Vom încerca să-i găsim un stăpân, cât mai urgent posibil 🙏🙏

Two years ago, Woody was living with her two little girls near our shelter, next to the woodpile. Everyone in the area loved them because they were gentle and very friendly. But… one day, the dog catchers from Hunedoara captured them and said they would take them to the public shelter in Tg-Jiu. The next day, we looked for them at the shelter, but, to our surprise, only the mother (Woody) was there. The puppies had disappeared, and… we never found them again 😭 Woody suffered greatly and refused to eat anything for a week 🥲
After I adopted her, she tried to escape a few times, probably to look for her “little girls.” But… time passed, and little by little, she regained her will to live. I spent a lot of time with her—I petted her, talked to her, took her for walks… Unfortunately, a tumor appeared on her left hind leg, which grew rapidly. We operated on her, and tests confirmed that the tumor was benign. She’s recovering well and is very responsive and friendly. We’ll try to find her a forever home as soon as possible 🙏🙏
