The Academy of Music Sinaia is a cultural project aimed at promoting, developing and enriching both the Romanian cultural heritage, as well as the international one, by means of musical education. The structure of this academy is currently based on the following instruments:
-Flute
-Oboe
-Clarinet
-Basson
-Horn
-Trumpet
-Trombone
In future, the academy seeks to extend to other instruments as wel
l, in order to provide its students with numerous opportunities to enrich their cultural knowledge. Our intention is to promote the participants in this academy by means of recitals and various publicity actions in the national and international media. The focus will be placed on the chamber music courses, which have an important place within this academy. Young musicians will also learn about/consolidate their knowledge of the significance of a general score and of a good communication with the colleagues with whom they take part in this musical act. The objective of the course is to foster these young musicians’ creativity, spontaneousness and musical intelligence. Another extremely important detail is that the goal of this academy is to create a dialogue among the young musicians from high-school education, university education and post-graduate education. During this short amount of time, we wish to eliminate all obstacles that the specialised forms of education have imposed, for the right reasons, by allowing a peer-to-peer dialogue among the different generations who participate in this course. The motto of this academy is:
“Dialogue and consistency for a better performance of music!”
