Today, 5 October 2026, we completed a series of follow-up and dissemination activities organised as part of the Erasmus+ KA153-YOU project “DRAW-IN for Youth Work: Drawing Inclusion through Comics for Youth Work”, dedicated to inclusion, participation and non-formal education through comics.
All activities took place at the Adina Stiftelsen Educational Centre in Simnicul de Sus, Dolj County, with the support and collaboration of the centre’s team.
Two workshops with young people were organised:
“See the Difference: Inclusion, Barriers and Visual Storytelling”
“From Idea to Comic”
The young participants explored topics such as inclusion, barriers, discrimination, support, belonging and active participation. Through creative exercises, teamwork, guided discussions and the creation of storyboards and comic strips, they learned how to communicate clear social messages through drawing, comics and visual storytelling.
A dissemination session of the international Erasmus+ training course also took place. During this session, the project objectives, the methods learned, the resources used and practical examples of how comics can be applied in youth work were presented.
Through these activities, we aimed to bring inclusive education, creative expression and non-formal learning closer to young people. We believe that comics can open meaningful discussions, encourage empathy and give a voice to those who need to be seen and heard.
We thank the participants, volunteers and the team of the Adina Stiftelsen Educational Centre for their openness, involvement and collaboration.
